These photos were taken before and after the ceremony. The ceremony was a traditional HK style awakening and took place after midnight in a forest. The fresh energy of the forest is taken in by the newly awakened Qilin and a branch of the tree was eaten by the Qilin. This branch will stay with the Qilin until the end of its life. See more
