05.01.2022 **Sunny Coast Food Event Opening Soon - Need Staff** As most people on the Sunshine Coast would be aware, Night Quarter is opening in Birtinya in the near future (if not, then check out their link at wwww.nightquarter.com.au), and we are looking for people to help us out with our food stall there. Who are we? The name of our business is Joseph's Hungarian Langos. As the name suggests, we make Langos, which is a traditional Hungarian street food (check us out on FB and Inst...as @hunglangos) What are we looking for? People on the Sunshine Coast who are able to work a Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday afternoon/evening (event goes from 4-10pm on Friday/Sat and 11-6pm Sunday), as well as the occasional one-off gig (these are typically ticketed events).. There are two parts to making Langos - the cooking and the serving. This role is for the serving part. Duties would include (but not limited to) taking orders, managing the lineup (those waiting to order and those that are waiting to collect), cash handling, food preparation, some basic cleaning and managing stock levels. If you know what Langos is, that's a good start. If you don't know what Langos is, know before you apply. Why would you want to work for us? Because we're rad.... (ok, so I just wanted to use the word rad in this post), but seriously... We pay well (Fast Food Industry Award rates and bonuses based on sales volume). We feed you (or make sure you are well fed). Although it can get pretty busy, we still like to have a laugh. There is opportunity to work other events that we do as well. ok, sounds interesting, what next.... Get an application in outlining WHY you want the job, any EXPERIENCE you have and what you know about working in a BUSY environment. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted for a chat over the phone.
