If you’re on the brink of a separation or if you have separated, then speaking to a family lawyer can help you understand what issues you may face in relation to your property or your children and how you can resolve those issues. There are a number of property issues that the parties will likely have to talk about, including:... 1. Who will remain living in the home and paying the loan; 2. What assets the parties will keep until they agree on how to divide all their property on a final basis; 3. Who will continue paying other expenses or loans of the parties in the meantime; and 4.
