07.01.2022 Introducing Dan Ferris as GILES RALSTON! Dan is thrilled to be back on stage in Hunters Hill, where he was last seen playing nasty Captain Lee in A Letter from the General. Some of Dan's previous roles include Charles Hart in Nell Gwynn, Robert in Boeing Boeing, Elyot in Private Lives, Ernie in Rumors, Max in Dial M for Murder, Ross in Visiting Mr Green and Reece in Communicating Doors. Prior to switching to drama Dan spent most of his stage time performing in musical theatr...e with various societies around Sydney. Notable roles include: Roger in Grease, Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls, Cliff in Cabaret, Motel in Fiddler on the Roof, Cable in South Pacific, Lamar in Godspell and a healthy dose of Gilbert and Sullivan. Dan saw the original Mousetrap in London many years ago and is loving being part of this historic play.

02.01.2022 After a change of name to HUNTERS HILL DRAMATIC CLUB in 1972, the company moved into the St John’s Parish Hall in 1979 and presented THE BEGGAR’S OPERA. Note the wax seal on the programme. The Church Hall was renovated to include an extra wing for storage of costumes, properties and the like. It would remain home for the company for more many years.
