25.01.2022 As soon as you walk into the strawberry patch at @huntleyberryfarm you know that you are in for a treat. The wonderful scent of strawberries ripening in the N...ovember sun hits you in the olfactory system and as soon as you taste one, you remember what makes living out in the central west oh so special. We always recommend to our guests that they should pop into Huntley Berry Farm for a wander around the amazing produce garden that they are operating. Now that they’ve reopened for business, there’s no excuse not to. This 4 kilogram box will become jam over the weekend. 20.01.2022 Wow! what a morning it has been , this heat wave has not stopped visitors coming out to the farm , those buckets of strawberries look delicious ...with New covid rules in place we close at 3pm today, so we can clean our premises throughout and after the day ..so you still plenty of time to head out ...and remember everyone that comes out to the farm , make sure you register via the App or if your old school like me , use the sign in book , our staff will be more than happy to help you if you have any trouble , together that means you , we all can stay safe and kick covid in the bum see you soooooon! Oh .. another thing make sure you bring out the sunscreen and slip slop and slap..

16.01.2022 Yesterday the farm celebrated Alex's 22nd Birthday, Alex has been with Huntley Berry Farm for 4 years now and in this short time we have seen Alex mature into a real Gentleman. Alex is now trained in all aspects of operating the farm, Ploughing, Planting, Pruning and his personal favourite... Cooking! "Thanks for all your efforts the past 4 years Alex, and here's to many more Birthday Parties to come.! Well done Henry!

14.01.2022 A FARM UPDATE, With the sudden closure of the farm last Season, The farms team are determined to make this year the Biggest One Ever!. We have all been busy, working behind the closed Gates to provide you our valued Visitors, the best Pick your own experience in Australia! The farm is now completely Prunned and tyied back, with New Raspberries / Blackberries plants planted. Our Fruit Orchard is doing extremely well and New Areas of the farm was cleared for another 200 fruit t...rees to be planted shortly. Areas of the farm has also be cleared to accommodate the extra 20,000 Strawberries plants to be planted next week. Bringing the grand total of Strawberries plants to 50,000 for this year's Season pickings. Our Green houses are full of plant cuttings, these will be available for sale in a newly expanded Plant Nursery. Areas of the farm have also be cleared to plant more of our loved Vegetable Crops, Tomatoes, Capsicums, Eggplants, Pumpkins, Chillies and Zucchinis to name a few. Our beloved Ponies have their very owned yard, away from them trouble making goats! As you can see, We have been very busy and have something to prove this year! We are going to show Orange and Australia, people with Disabilities are capable of doing anything, when you enjoy what we do and the wonderful people we meet. 14.01.2022 We arrived to work this morning and found a new member for the Huntley Berry Farm Family . A baby goat was born, So we decided appropriately to call him "Baby Covid"!

11.01.2022 Wow , we just want to say thank you to everyone that came to the farm over the the weekend , we had some really hot weather and some really large Strawberries come out of the patch , we are all picked out of strawberries , but by next weekend we should see them come back again with warm night predicted in the coming days , just a reminder our new trading hours CLOSED Monday Tuesday and Wednesday... OPEN Thursday Friday Saturday and Sunday 10am to 3pm See you all again real soon

09.01.2022 That time of year again 20,000 vegetables plants being planted , this year we will see a harvest in late February consisting on Eggplant, Tomatoes,Roma Tomatoes, Zucchini, Chillies , cucumbers , Parsley and Rockmelons ..all organically to bring out the best flavour as possible ...so stay tuned and we will post updates when there ready to harvest ...see you soon

08.01.2022 Hi all just a quick update on the farm 2020 season , things are looking great on the farm , we have been busy preparing for a bumper of a season , with over 40,000 strawberry plants in , 10,000 blackberries , 12,000 Raspberry bushes , we have also expanded our nursery with a new shade house being erected out of recycled materials...and it looks great. We like everyone around the state have had plenty of rain , and the water table has risen dramatically ... could pretty m...uch say the ground is water logged , 2020 is going to be a very different year in previous years with covid safe practices currently being worked out so we can welcome back everyone in a covid safe environment , we will update our page with further information in the coming weeks on our open hrs for the season , we are currently closed to the public at this stage and look at possible re open early November to the public ...I've attached pics around my morning walk around the farm ... everything is starting to bud up and look great ..so keep an eye out on our page for further updates ..see you again soon See more
