24.01.2022 Id better welcome you lovely, new folk who responded to my invitation. This is not your typical, alls well, goo & gush Mastiff site...I guess its a precursor to my book, if I ever get to finish it. Youre welcome to trawl through bits and pieces of previous post and pics, certainly some different perspective can be gained. Having "been there done that " for decades on the Australian Mastiff scene, travelled extensively around the world Mastiffing, I may just bring in a different, unexplored, unexpected dimension which is so much part of loving our breed. So please feel free to check in from time to time, leaving your Mastiff footprint if you so wish, your contributions are welcome. However, at all times please lets show each other the respect we deserve.

24.01.2022 Re digging deep to support a worthy cause as Ian Le Nepveu would have wished instead of flower tributes, please note that ALL Mastiffs are under the banner of Bullmastiff rescue.

23.01.2022 Folks, please dont forget, dogs can get bored and depressed. In our present unprecedented circumstances its easy to overlook mans best friend! It has never ceased to amaze me just what accurate timekeeper pooches are! They just KNOW THAT TIME for that walk. A little extension will go a long way. That extra training helps to keep them engaged. Most probably I am talking to the converted here, but thinking being home with them all these extra hours may not be extending them enough.

23.01.2022 Think of ways of engaging your poor pets esp the ones used to one or two daily walks. This is time for a bit of extra training, games. Amazing just how our 4 legged friends respond to mental and physical stimulation. Feeding could also be altered for the now less active. Not only a tad less in their bowls but also substitute some kibble for 4x4s or biscuits that take that extra time to chew. Knuckle bones I always watched and eventually took away, also occasional brisket bones help to pass time. Those of you feeding chicken carcasses PLEASE take out the wishbone. Most of you are doing this already, a gentle reminder doesnt go astray.

22.01.2022 Marvels of technology. After writing it on my iPad, it failed to post. Lets see if this works?

22.01.2022 LOLOL a bit of history??! Good old days...the birthing of the NZ Mastiff Club way back then...Jean Ancell did her BEST to set up the club and achieve recognition after breaking off from the Australian & NZ Mastiff Club inc.

22.01.2022 New members always welcome. Dont be afraid to post. Please go back and trawl through my previous post, you may glean some useful information that could help in some way. My memory, knowledge, experience of Mastiffs in Oz and also even in NZ these past 40 years is unequalled and unsurpassed, perhaps the longest amongst Mastiff breeders still partially active. I certainly have " been there done that" at the highest level. My dogs have had accolades on accolades in 5 States fr...om Breed Specialists to All Breeds judges in the biggest competition. My cup is well and truly filled! Please dont regard this as a "boast", merely establishing where I am coming from. Certainly NO sour grapes here! There are several OTHERS with great accomplishments dedication, have been, are and will be. I salute you. Hence the " interest groups" jealously and angst is somewhat curious! Instead of embracing, drawing on my knowledge & experiences the counter productive wannabes lie in wait...Would be a delight to see greater cooperation between in the 2 Mastiff clubs. Unity moves us forward esp in these trying times. I see the 4th "spy" emerging. Little people who "follow" but dont " like" my site. Rate me low & effectively, unitedly denograte. WHY would you waste your time? Basically, I guess you want to glean some truthful information, a bit of history. Pity that nothing changed in 40 years. Hate is such a counter productive emotion. Our breed needs an OVERVIEW, love and a concerted effort to go forward. Lets hope for UNITY. We certainly have extra time to reflect at present. Happy Mastiffing.

22.01.2022 Yay! FINALLY my acreage packed up and sold! Anyone thinking about packing up 40 years of dog association, 50 years of school stuff primarily and secondary, dont leave it too late. Ditched zillions of " most revealing " correspondence, championship certificates, show ribbons galore, memorable memories really only truly meaningful for me! Hopefully kept enough to finish my " book" that now Ill have no excuse not to finish! Obviously you lovelies are busy out there with your ..." rating" LOLOL I havent written anything to warrant ratings alas, you dilligently rate! If that much of your time was spent on planning your breeding your Mastiffs would greatly improve. Life for Hunzeal is taking a very much less stressful direction! Since 1982 acreage was my only choice apart from a short stint in Sydney where relaxed dog laws allowed several dogs in suburbia. Finally, my great love and passion of the Mastiff will take an easier form concentrating on an arduous but most interesting journey through hot coals, broken glass speckled with magnificent rides on Cloud 9!

22.01.2022 Spare a lovely thought for Ian le Nepveu whose b'day it would have been today! Sadly he didn't make it!RIP, my friend, tho I am sure you'll be organizing a show in Rainbow Bridge! My thoughts are also with Lianne who somehow has to bear this unexpected, tragic loss. Thinking of you!

22.01.2022 Damaria Powerful Magic of Gildasan ( imp UK) and Ch Hunzeal Fantasia ( Grangemoor X Grangemoor imp UK) When the bitch is 10 times the quality of the dog! ( 1991) The price we pay living in Australia with very LIMITED choices and already being on top.. Ch Hunzeal Fantasia holds the record of 11 BOBs (9 consecutive ) At our ROYAL Shows in 5 States in biggest competition beating ALL top winning males of the day. ( under International Judges) ..Now with frozen semen theres more scope! However, " expert " repro vets are still a bit of a lottery!

21.01.2022 Finally a permanent swap!

21.01.2022 How futile!? 14 reviews, so a number of new ones I CANNON see. I guess they'd be " special ". Luckily you weren't my judge and jury in the show rings! So many interesting, thought provoking threads pertaining to Australian Mastiff history are bypassed for the same ole, same ol ' hostility. But then, I guess Mastiffs in Oz only started in the new millennium. I feel for the few innocent, genuine folk caught up in old angst. From time to time you have to put up with me rattling the rusty old chains.

21.01.2022 Interestingly my baby puppies, a litter of Mastiffs and Rottweilers had Corona virus on the Gold Coast back in 1987. The Mastiffs survived WITHOUT major drama, the Rotts were not so fortunate. This was during the Parvo virus pandemic when we were madly VACCINATED against Parvo.

21.01.2022 Look someone vaccinated the cat....what happened?!

21.01.2022 Too fired up by world politics just at present.

21.01.2022 We have some intelligent, caring, concerned, responsible Mastiff groups around the globe. Alas were shackled by political correctness. No-one dares to really call a spade a spade! No wonder breeds, especially rare breeds have these great variations within " The STANDARD " especially given the strong personalities attracted to the breed. Were forever swathed by chicken and egg argument. IMO, since the Clubs conception fads & fashions, lack of knowledgeable breed savvy judging plagued our beautiful breed. On a positive note the breed continues to survive in spite of its vast variations, its numerous oppotunistic breeders, several very dedicated ones, above all, the breeds essentially grandeur and good nature has not been compromised!

20.01.2022 Hyia my "good lookers", watch this space. I am going to sell some of my Mastiff paraphernalia starting with Joan Hahn fabulous literary awarded publication , Grandeur and Good Nature...and several other books as well as pics & bits & pieces.

20.01.2022 Letting go! Euthanasia. One of the most heart-wrenching situations we face as breeders, indeed as human beings. Our attitude translates into our decisions which from my perspective is well meaning but often very self serving. A poor suffering dog, from what we are led to believe, they have a high threshold of pain tolerance, CANNOT tell us when enough is enough. Sure there ARE signs...the vets busily encourage the prolonging of life, why wouldnt they? Medication often ve...ry costly and generally with troubling side effects. Once definite, irreversible diagnosis esp of cancer is given esp that of the bone, theres little or no hope. Hmmmmm, therein lies our huge dilemma! Are we helping ourselves or mans best friend?? See more

20.01.2022 Hyia new folk. Those of you after some information, please read through a way back...soon as time permits Ill resume posting again. For the moment were enjoying the Gold Coast WITHOUT the nagging responsibilities of acreage! Have a great day!

19.01.2022 Happy Easter Everyone! Sad news, NO Royal Easter Show for the first time in my lifetime. So sorry to the multiple levels of exhibitors who miss out with their goods & exhibits.

18.01.2022 This is the MOST EXCITING post I read in years posted by Andrew Munden of Cadfell Mastiffs:- " I think that might be a slight baby belly developing there Ruby-roo...she was confirmed pregnant by ultra sound and puppies are due at end of November. Thanks so much to Ron and Nancy for allowing us to use their fantastic boy Cash (USA GR CH Eastwinds Float like a Butterfly Sting Like a Bee) to be the father of this litter. We are all very excited and looking forward to a big bunc...h of beautiful Cash/Ruby puppies!! " Below an already stunning baby Ruby some years ago.

18.01.2022 Mastiff, a magnificent creation giving back so much joy, alas, attracting numerous undeserving owners.

18.01.2022 It is with my greatest of sorrow I received the tragic news that as of Saturday, 19th of September my good friend, Ian le Nepveu of Grandcoeur Mastiffs is no longer. Ian passed away peacefully at home after a brief, sudden illness just at the age of 54. He was surrounded by his beloved Mastiffs. Apparently his Angle Eyes upon death reflected his peaceful, accepting state. I first met Ian and Lianne at the Royal Melbourne in 2004. They were generously handing out tasty nibbli...es to ALL exhibitors and attendees of our breed! Sometimes later, Ian became the Secretary of the Association of all Mastiff Breeds of Victoria Inc., a Mastiff association originally set up as an alternative for Mastiff folk who broke away from the MCOV after the chasm created in 2001 after the untimely ( 2 years 8 month) euthanasia of Ch Hunzeal Winona Whitbey with alleged " cruciate ligament rupture ". I embraced Ian INSTANTLY! A big man with a BIG Mastiff heart! He worked relentlessly to get the breed out there, to break down the barriers amongst Mastiff factions created by the chasm. He served for many years as the Vic Dog Rep. demonstration of his absolute signature of fair play. Mention must be made of wife, Lianne, Show Secretary of many successful, well attented shows that were to transpire. Ian's loyal friend Stewie and various relatives were all mobilized to make those special September days to remember! Ian was a RARE individual dogs responded to INSTANTLY! The show successes of Grandcoeur grew from strength to strength but admirably Ian was always there to help! Many a time he took that lead of any dog in need of help of a friend or foe! In Ian, and again only too soon and recently in Peter Docherty ( Mastdoch), the breed lost two valuable men who fiercely promoted our breed, whose hearts beat the love of Mastiffs to their tragic, untimely end. RIP, run free with your beloved pack! Please watch this space. Have not yet received specific details from Lianne. Ian's wish would be, instead of flowers a most welcome donation to Mastiff rescue. Will repost details as received.

17.01.2022 Merry Christmas to all my friends and foe!

17.01.2022 Good fronts hard to breed, once established hard to beat. At shows half the battle is won, once your exhibit goes into a four square position due to its well balanced structure. Nothing worse than spanning a big Mastiff, exhibitors fiddle and fuss over repositioning front legs.

16.01.2022 Another blast from the past..Ch Hunzeal Yoricks brother, then still young Yanni.

16.01.2022 And another pic of bitter sweet memories. One of my most direction changing for tha Australian and NZ Mastiff landscape litter born naturally by Ch Hunzeal Fantasia. Mum & pups doing well. Day 6 vet revisits as mere courtesy in the morning as he was in the area...healthy pups FADING by that evening. All stops pulled out, injections flown up from Sydney ( thank you Dr Karen Hedburg) thousands of dollars later, many sleepess nights and aging 10 years in as many days, ALL pups SAVED.

14.01.2022 LOLOL bit of Easter special...anyone out there with Ch Hunzeal Norbet offsprings..young, 2 year old Ch Norbet, his then 11 months old brother Ch Nathan & approx 2year old or younger son Ch Hunzeal Quincy.

14.01.2022 LOL, sadly the nasty, wanna-be, the mediocre, the negatives but computer savvy are out and about judging by my slipped rating! Hmmmm isnt it an indictment on just who you are? Collaboratively you CANNOT make a positive contribution to my posts, tho you busily read to glean information a few even from the USA! MOST of you know little, if any consequential history, overall dogs of the past and SURPRISE! previously disliked each other, have little overview of our breed. Alas ...you join in your dislike of honesty, truth and success. SAD! All this revolving door negative converted to POSITIVE would have catapulted our Mastiffs to consistent, better hights. With our " beloved " breed, we wouldve ALL benefited. I cant resist quoting wonderful Eve who used to say:- " Just remember darlin, cream always rises to the top!" See more

13.01.2022 Australia Day message to my "follow" but not " like " audience...we live in a wonderful country! Why don't you just go and find your own kind? There are lots of you out there! Have a great day!

13.01.2022 Sire Ch Hunzeal Norbet as a 2 year old youngster and 11 months old progeny a couple of decades later. note scull is made of bone NOT excessive wrinkle.

13.01.2022 Please dig deep and give as generously as able to honour a heart that embrace this worthy cause. Reposted for Grandcoeur. Ian i know would love people to donate to this great cause below as they have rescued one of our mastiffs in the past instead of flowers. Only if you can afford it as we are all in hard times Thank you ... 13.01.2022 8th January 1992 & 1993...the Hs & I s to remember. Great, golden days.

13.01.2022 I am gathering strength to say goodbye to Baron by writing up his sadly relatively short journey speckled with love, joy, sadness...alas, he ONLY gave his essence, love, tolerance and loyalty. Shortly after this pic I co- owned him with Anne Marie Docherty. That 10 months or so stint unfortunately didn't work out.

12.01.2022 I wonder just how dog breeding will pull up after these troubled, unpresidented times? All those shows missed!? Mastiffs certainly are a different breed. So many lovely, energetic, active pooches at home plod along like sacks of potatoes in the ring. For some incredible motivation is needed to animate. Often the laughable situation of only we Mastiff people can truly appreciate when at the final selection of winners, the judge is trying to get BEST expression, exhibit thinking: " wot are you talking to ME? " BLANK expression!

12.01.2022 Groups on groups! I wonder just WHY is there a need for as yet another Mastiff group? I thought Mastiffs are already preserved?... Furthermore, " The Mastiff " moderated so superbly by Steve Oifer gives an unsurpassable, unequalled, extensive coverage of our breed with most historical, factual and often exquisite, illustrious illustrations from his Mastiff Museum. Serious superlatives are needed to do justice to the thought-provoking, stimulating presentations. In spite of my 40 years in the breed with world wide varied experience and reasonable historical knowledge, I am still amazed by his informative, stimulating posts. I am thrilled by this opportunity! Mastiff Preservation.. Sounds very serious. A bit like the Deer Run Free group. Without wanting to offend its esteemed members, there may be Deer Run Free?! Alas, how about the secret unnamed variety of breeds that found their way to constitute our beautiful, beloved Mastiffs today?! Tho wishing the group well, I personally believe there are already so many groups with so many agendas that we become far too fragmented. Wouldn't it be great to dovetail / to amulgamate a few groups to share knowledge and resources already within. After all, our common denominator that unites us all, is our alleged LOVE OF THE BREED! PS. LIGHTNING STRIKE! An apology is needed! I've just realized my constant exclusion of the most beautiful group of individuals owning our wonderful breed just for the love of it! No expectations, just sheer joy and unconditional devotion! I SALUTE you all. That is how I initially started out. Unfortunately too early in the piece, I became a " top winner ", a " successful breeder" ....once, egos, jealousy, upmanship, politics become part of the equation, the direction takes on a different, less pleasurable scenario.

11.01.2022 Another picture set from my 10 day "dog challenge ", to me seems like a bit of a waste.

10.01.2022 WHY is it that generally as soon as we make that extra effort, walk the extra mile, spend the extra dollars repro vets miss the mark? So heart wrenching to see so many opportunities for our breed of go forward worldwide decades after decades lost... Congratulations to all breeders who continue to continue after the numerous disappointments serious breeding entails. Awww that unforgettable smell of puppy breath!

08.01.2022 Actually I can repost, some information can be gleaned for the interested. I spoke with a most knowledgeable Mastiff fancier today! How I wish many breeders would equal his knowledge and observations! Hopefully I can steer him towards breeding!

07.01.2022 Happy, safe, healthy, prosperous New Year to my wonderful supporters, readers and others who cant resist a peek a boo! We just came back from cruising the South Pacific, hence silence. Hmmmm, IMO by far and large definitely not a place for Mastiffs. Fabulous 2020!

06.01.2022 Puppies NEED to be watched feeding. Often, especially in big litters they can attach themselves to the soft milkline, comfort sucking. Best to put weaker pups on teats with even flow.

06.01.2022 Intermission...birthday celebrations! How did I get here?!?!

06.01.2022 Hyia folks. NOTHING much to report. Same old same old. Half a dozen people showing. I havent checked, supposedly a pied litter bred in WA. Will check it out. Hmmmmm in NSW! I must need new glasses! Reluctant to start a discussion as most of you dont dare to comment. Funny how most people NEED to fit in with the pack. Most popular post are full of good & gush, so its the famous " its all good ". I am a bit overwhelmed & preoccupied by " Australia burning " and just how many of these devastating fires were started by children or disenfranchised youth! OVER a hundred caught, a couple of dozen charged. Given the magnitude of the devastating damage and misery on ALL aspect of our life, animals & environment, I am amazed by the governments lack of taking a firmer stance.

06.01.2022 Farewell to Baron the Olde English Mastiff. He comes from my LAST significant litter in many ways' I had to have'... Great intentions don't always translate... After the inception of Hunzeal I have ONLY bred with Hunzeal bitches resulting in 7 generations of some of the best bitches strutting the Australian Mastiff show circuit. Baron's dam was imported from NZ by dr Simon Little on her Hunzeal X GreinerHall pedigree! LOLOL. ... Apparently she was " 61% Hunzeal " REALLY?! I post Baron 's pedigree for the readership to see. Normally I would NOT have bred with these lines as I knew and liked my tried and trusted Hunzeals ( warts and all). but unfortunately Simon Little made sure my last beautiful breeding bitch was viable option no longer. Saffron, Baron's dam, was quite pleasant with definitely some of my best dogs behind her. My dog Maverik's ( a total genetic waste) semen was by that stage a bit questionable. Interestingly his semen at 2 years of age was " one of the BEST " the same repro vet has handled. So my dilemma...why risk iffy semen with a 5 year old? ..risk her having pyrometra for what ?? Debbie Quine had a pleasant apricot brindle boy alas, a BRINDLE! and NOT from bloodlines of my choice. No nasty aspersions are intended here, I just preferred my lines. Given the circumstances, I felt POSITIVE if successful, SEVERAL breeders COULD benefit from the mating!( dream on!) The brindle factor was another quirky but hearstring addition. With a show home inquiry from the USA, I felt I could HONOUR the memory of my mysteriously vanished friend Gloria Davis of Lionhearted Mastiffs, a prefix suspended after her disappearance. Gloria was a BRINDLE queen!( give me a beautiful clear fawn!!) Hence, tho not on the same page in breeding, I registered the litter Hunzeal Lionhearted...to keep Gloria Davis 's memory alive just a little longer! NOTHING goes to plan! LOLOL coordinating the matings!!! Debbie 's little granddaughter broke her arm! Naturally that took precidence...honestly the Universe didn't seem to line up! To be continued... To be continued...

05.01.2022 Sorry folks, too busy caught up in the 10 day dog challenge Anthony Sanchez nominated me for. Please check Amasha Caffyn if you wish to glean some more information and look at some more pics. Quite a task it is proving to be. So many wonderful memories, so many anecdotes, so many pictures!!!

04.01.2022 The difficulty of raising big dogs. As a breeder, I believe I have raised pups more effectively than most over the decades. I supplied feedings charts, always kept lines of communication open with my puppy buyers, indeed eagerly helped others who turned to me for help.YET, within a few months my pups appeared to blossom with extra bloom! Was it that I kept what I perceived as the " pick of the litter"? I believe NOT. Mastiff babies along with other big breeds have a difficult... task to transition into healthy, well balanced adults. Owner s vigilance is badly needed. How many times I heard, "oh, hell grow out of it!". Let me tell you, mostly the problem will be compounded, magnified. IMO, the biggest problem with raising pups is the temptation to overfeed. Sure, chunky pups look great! Vets are also guilty NOT pointing out the subsequent ramifications of that cute rolly, polly pup during their vaccination. Surfaces pups are raised on also have HUGE input for sound development. Lovely polished floors, tiles, timber decking DONT give pups, esp. BIG, TALL pups the traction they NEED for the development of strong, muscular, needed rear ends. TOE NAILS also play an important part. Think just how much discomfort a very long toe nail causes in a shoe? Our gait will alter to compensate! Long toe nails constantly sliding on timber decking etc are recipes for disasters! Best to cut the pups nails regularly coupled with steady shortish walks on bitumen. Times spent on grass, sand, bitumen, pebbles, walking on the side of the road ( on leash!) all enhance healthy development. Swimming from an early age is a BONUS! If in pools, safety procedures are essential. Puppy must be able to get out of the pool. Drinking sea water, esp initially to an inquisitive young pup is an enema. Be prepared! Personally, I believe in regular, say, approx 4 monthly check ups by a GOOD doggy chiropractor, esp during that rapid growth, tumbling period of the first 16 months. Hard to find good, safe ones. Luckily I had one I could recommend both in Sydney and Brisbane. Beware many "experts" in the industry can do more DAMAGE than good! During that puppy stage fun, stress free training needs to be introduced along with other different environments and situations. More the merrier!! ALL situations should be as funfilled as possible. Mastiff pups in comparison to some other breeds seem to be " sensitive " bitches more so than dogs. Therefore, gentle but firm guidance and exposure to varied experiences yields BEST results in raising an incredible, well adjusted, mature lifelong companion.

03.01.2022 Hmmmm, there are so many interesting, thought provoking topics on the Mastiff world wide landscape that I often engrosse myself in them. I tried generating topical discussion on my site, alas, it attracts only "good lookers" and several pathetic " spies" who rush and report to other dills who still haven't managed to move forward. Steve Oifer's moderation of " The Mastiff " is my Mastiff elixir! To my amazement there are some who instead of relishing and appreciating the ...vast, historical, exciting eye candy of our breed Steve relentlessly presents try to find a chink in his shiny armour! Then, there's the clarification of the STANDARD! Personality I failed to see just WHY there was a need for deviation from the standard of the country of origin?? I DARESAY, a good, typey Mastiff should still jump out at you in the line up!! Mine certainly did to judges from ALL parts of the globe at the biggest Royal Shows in 5 States over decades. There ARE several points that could be clarified. Head is possibly most difficult tho, I believe we need to all agree that our Mastiffs are a head breed! Over my 40 or so years with the breed, I am yet to meet a breeder whose heads didn't comply with the STANDARD! Obviously there's a need for a Mastiff optometrist or more specific clarifications. Rushing around with a tape measure may help some to interpret set ratios, but mindfulness is needed just WHERE these ratios come from? Bone and desired muscle or merely wrinkles on wrinkles. Just HOW much wrinkle is too much appears to be a great point of contention! As for even the mere suggestion of a longer, narrower muzzle ?!?! Yikes! our breed thankfully is well on the way from evolving from that. Lastly, I copped an undeserved beating from moderator, Chris Murphy. To think I was suggesting pictorial presentation to accompany head measurements but apparently somehow I was having a go at his and his good friend Karen Dyres marital bliss. Let me state and clarify for once and for all. I have done no such thing. I am NOT PRIVY to any such information, nor do I give a rodent's rectum. For all the erroneous crap, an apology would be the only decent thing to do.

03.01.2022 I would like to say goodbye to my beloved Panash known as Ch Grandcoeur Penelope Rose. Panash died yesterday at the age of 8 years and 9 months. PTS at the vet and laid to rest on the farm where she was born. In her days she competed at a high level being one of the youngest Champions in the world. She produced very high quality pups going to some top kennels in Australia being Kimi Lee and Brian Kelly, Kerryn Phipps, Andrew Munden, Nichole and Mark Hopkins and Angelia from Orange. Her progeny is succeeding in shows today. One of her pups went to Japan winning Best of Bred At the Japanese Royal. A Big thanks to Amasha from Hunzeal Mastiffs for her input in producing Panash Lay in rest my darling you where a joy in my life

03.01.2022 Cripes! For the first time I searched for Mastiff groups in Oz. I was AMAZED and HORRIFIED at sizes of membership!! Obviously excluding ALL overseas members and referring to only our home grown Mastiff expert ...I read that even advice is given about " good breeders " or some such!! OMG! If membership consists mostly of sincere and loving pet owners, I salute you along with the overseas members. However if youre offering serious breeder discussions just how are you able to ...embrace decades of serious, successful breeding and showing?!. Now I see clearly my " good lookers " on Hunzeal Mastiff woofs site, the ones who "follow but dont like " . You must have to come back periodically to get some history, some facts. To achieve success we NEED TO EMBRACE & UTILIZE knowledge, experience and history which makes up the rich kaleidoscope of our allegedly beloved, beautiful breed. See more

02.01.2022 What can I say? George Orwell story line? Stay safe, observe regulations and advice. This is NOT a dress rehearsal.

02.01.2022 I am baffled by the slack dog laws that allow puppy farming but pull the noose even tighter on legitimate breeders. With all the hoops to jump, extra motivation is needed to continue breeding. Good on you bona fide breeders for flying the flag. But of course that goes with its own foibles...

02.01.2022 Furthermore, due these two most significant, influential litters born on the 8th of January 1992 & 1993, the Mastiff landscape both in Oz and NZ. changed significantly. Those litters gave rise to several Mastiff kennel changing direction. It gave rise to notable, wonderful, unequalled heights especially, to Breton in Victoria. Also shifted direction of Tanamera and Brehan in NZ.... There was an amazing avalanche that followed...Wolfdietrich, ( originally Oz, then NZ, Hessenfield,( NZ) Then in Oz, Topemall, Kalunga, Mastenmoor, Yangerdook, Manseutus, Triscol, Masafari, Grangeview even Mastdoch...naturally, it DIDNT stop there... Grandcoeur, now perhaps Cadfell today has their greatest concentration. Certainly they will be dates to remember in our Downunder Mastiff calender

02.01.2022 Happy Easter Everyone! Friends and foe!
