17.01.2022 Keeping in touch is so important during challenging times. Our Geeveston Early Learning and Care children have posted cards to their friends who are currently not attending care. Letting our friends and family know we are thinking of them even though we are apart is so important and we look forward to seeing them all again soon.

Clinical psychologist Lisa Ford will be giving talks in locations around the Huon on topics such as building resilience, managing separation anxiety, mindful parenting, bullying, and self-care for parents. 16.01.2022 What a beautiful Autumn morning for our stroll to the school bus this morning. Welcome back this week to our school children. All Children's Services programs are running as normal including our Early Morning and After School Care programs. Our After School Care program is available even if your child is not currently attending school. Please direct any enquiries to our office- 62640333

16.01.2022 It was many hands, make light work today, as our Shooting Stars children began work in our vegetable garden. So many discoveries were made as we dug in the garden beds. Worms, grubs, spiders and bugs. Even the odd buried treasure, such as cars, toy trains and magic rocks! At the end of the morning we were dirty and exhausted, but proud of the progress we had made.

09.01.2022 Our Vacation Care program is out for the April school holidays. Bookings are essential contact us on 6264 0333. Please Note: Due to COVID-19 all excursions have been cancelled and an alternative option will be held at the centre.

06.01.2022 Dear families, At Huon Valley Children’s Services, the health of our staff and families is our number one priority. Many of us are feeling concerned about the COVID-19 situation and we are continuing to implement and explore changes to the way we do things to protect against infection. In accordance with advice from the Department of Health, our staff are following the recommended hygiene measures, including regular hand washing, and we have increased the frequency and level... of our cleaning regime to ensure we continue to provide a hygienic and safe environment at our centres. We ask that you keep your child at home if they are feeling unwell. Our care hours remain the same at this stage. We are continuing to monitor the situation and will keep you up to date on what’s happening at our centres. If you have any questions please call us on 6264 0333.
