We also have all the Snitty options back... 19.01.2022 Here we go again ...... Back to the Covid19 updates Effective immediately (cause it is after midnight) When we open at 11am we will have to abide by the 1 person per 4 sq mtr rule again which takes us back to when we reopened at the end of May.... our front bar, outside area, gaming room and bistro capacity will reduce Entry to the bar and gaming room will be via the door closest to the bottleshop as we will have to monitor numbers ... In every area you will need to be seated... thats right NO STANDING anywhere This week the bistro will be open Wednesday night for snitty night 5pm to 8pm Friday/Saturday nights 5pm to 8pm Sunday night 6pm to 8pm Bookings will be essential by phoning the hotel on 85751007 as the numbers in this area are significantly reduced Takeaways are still an option Will update again tomorrow with anything that I've missed We've done this before... we can do it again... we've got this... we're all in this together... lets not be complacent... lets make SA covid free again... get on to it now before its too late One last thing.. be nice.. remember its not anyones fault in hospitality that we have to follow these rules again

Monday update for you all (sorry its late) What a great week welcoming back to the hotel our local customers and many visitors, particulary over the weekend Have to specially thank the staff for putting in more time to keep the bar running longer than anticipated for you guys to enjoy... The hours and structure for this week will run very similar to the week just gone as there has been no further changes to the way hotels can operate under the COVID-19 way Bottleshop and Front Bar Monday to Thursday and Sunday 11am to 8pm Friday and Saturday 11am to 10pm *****The close times will be later if required and everyone is following the rules***** Bistro (Bookings are essential) Friday, Saturday and Sunday 5pm to 8pm Front Bar lunches only Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12pm to 2pm Wednesday this week will still be snitty night as TAKEAWAY ONLY The kitchen is closed Monday, Tuesday and Thursday this week Takeaways still available Friday through to Sunday $10 meals and $4 desserts will still be available from the fridge in the bottleshop We hope that you all have a good week and look forward to seeing you again soon at the hotel

17.01.2022 Getting ready to open is definitely not as quick and easy as it was to close. Due to all the restrictions we are working through our best options of which areas we can/will open taking into account our business structure, staffing and of course our valued customers. We are currently working through all the planning so on Monday we will be able to let you all know what and how Meningie Hotel is going to operate ( and before more changes occur ) We need to get this right the f...irst time to avoid issues or further changes in the short term for when our doors open. We have been busy over the past 10 weeks with multiple projects on the go so we are having to complete these on top of getting ready to re-open. A couple of projects will be completed just in time for the nicer weather and lawnmower racing Our takeaway menu will still available 5pm to 8pm Wednesday to Sunday and the fridge will still be stocked with heat and eat meals over the 7 days and available in the bottleshop.

16.01.2022 Update on opening The front bar is ready for a 11am opening tomorrow - closing time will be 8pm. Due to current restrictions we are only able to seat 14 inside and 11 outside (yes thats the rules seated only and this will NOT be at the bar). Entry will be via the door closest to the bottleshop only. It will be very different for you as customers but also for staff, so we ask that you be patient and courteous and be responsible for doing the right thing as we ease our way bac...k into the re-open of the hotel. Tomorrow, Monday, we will let you all know what the rest of this week will look like for the bar and the bistro, but for now its not business as usual but it is business. See more

07.01.2022 In consultation with Hotel Management, Australian Hotels Association, Liquor Licencing and SAPOL due to the current COVID 19 conditions and government regulations, the prospect of hosting Mowers@Meningie for the second round of the South Australian Titles with a crowd is not acheivable. It is with great sadness that we have to announce the Meningie race on September 12th will go ahead with a closed circuit of Officials, participants and limited pit crew. We will have an updated COVID SAFE PLAN in place *1 person per 4 sq mtrs and access to the hotel will be via the door closest to the bottleshop (near TAB) - this will allow us to monitor strict covid numbers **No more than 10 people to a group ***NO standing inside or outside ... you've got it all drinks and food to be consumed sitting down ****Regular Covid cleaning and hand santiser for everyones use *****Social distancing And all of these are no different when we re-opened the first time so this will make our job easier..... surely!!!
