24.01.2022 Hello Jo Mathews is coming back to the clinic this Saturday to do a workshop with the essential oils in how they can help increase energy, heal the body and lower stress and anxiety. Now for this weeks health email. --------------------------------------------------------------- Want to chase away the blahs? Want to do it doing something that is easy to do? First of all... Taking some 'me time' between all those 'honey-dos and to-dos will help. How? Consider skpiping TV, and instead read a magazine or do a hobby you love to do. A study of more than 45,000 people revealed that the happiest people spend 20% less time watching TV than the unhappiest people! If you don't like what I'm saying, just share it with someone else. Happiness SECRET: TV is a passive activity that provides only a fleeting mood boost, while doing activities that engage your mind produce GOOD feelings that last and last. 20.01.2022 Every year Sydney Homeless Connect is on at Sydney Town Hall. Where 100's of homeless are able to access free legal, social and health services. I was happy to adjust many people that day and witnessed people getting free massages, haircuts and of course some good food. Doing volunteer work fills my emotional bank and I love doing it. Now for this weeks health email. on getting some good sleep. Sleep is where the central nervous system heals and rests. ... I think we need more of it. -------------------------------------------------------- If you feel grumpy when you wake up, even after seven or eight hours of sleep, do this. It's simple and it's easy to do. The problem? "The time you go to bed." With everything that has been going on, you might have a tendency to push back your bedtime. British researchers quizzed nearly 1,100 adults about their habits. And they made a surprising discovery. Folks who go to bed early and get up early are happier and calmer than those who go to bed late and hit the snooze button! What it does is it throws your internal body clock, preventing you from reaching the deeper stages of sleep. These are the stages that make you feel fully rested and sharp. So what can you do? When we adjust babies, they go to sleep in about 30 minutes max, so make sure you're getting adjusted regularly.

04.01.2022 Hello We had an excellent workshop last Saturday with Jo Mathews going through the essential oils that are good for coughs, colds and flu and getting more energy. The next one is on Saturday 23rd of June from 9.30am doing wellness consultations and doing a workshop on the top 10 essential oils at 11.30am. The workshop covers how to use oils to support your health, muscles and nervous system and how they can be used in the home to remove nasty chemicals from cleaning and pers...onal care products. Now for this weeks health email --------------------------------------------- I'm always talking about certain things that help you, and your health through chiropractic adjustments, but today I'm going to change my criteria. I'm going to give you the SECRET way to BOOST your child's grades when they take exams. Now if they're too old, or you don't have children at home anymore, don't worry. You might have grandchildren. You might have a friend who has some younger children. You can even help some younger parents with this just by sharing this email with them. They'll thank you later, I guarantee it. Anyway... Does your child have an important test/exam coming up? Before your child heads to school, ask them to eat a 'brain-boosting' banana, and tell them it'll help them do better on the exam. According to a recent University of Washington study, the rise in confidence that they will get from expecting to do better on the exam/test will make them work harder, so they really will excel at the test. Now for this weeks email. ---------------------------------------------------------- This is all about anxiety and how to beat it. Researchers found that when you get adjusted, you feelt calmer. What happens to you is this. Getting an adjustment can boost levels of melatonin, a relaxing hormone, and GABA, a neurotransmitter that slows racing thought. If you get a baby adjusted, it'll help them sleep better too. If you have any STRESS in your life, make sure you are adjusted regularly.
