15.01.2022 Do what you love and you’ll never spend a day working This paraphrased quote from Marc Anthony is so true. So often, we find ourselves stuck in the situation of working for money, to pay off our bills, childcare, medical expenses, house, car, investment property, schooling.. the list goes on.... And we end up in jobs that provide for our lives but also suck the life out of us. With the Coronavirus pandemic going on and many of us working from home, it is a great opportunity to re-assess what we value, why we do what we do and what makes us tick. Imagine you find what you really love to do, what you’re really passionate about and you start spending more time effort on it. It will snowball to a point where you’ll become a master at it and then you will be able to charge a decent fee for it. Everyone deep down has a passion for something, their calling, so it is a matter of whether you are willing to discover yours or not. We discovered that remedial massage is our passion, which might sound like an odd one, but there are so many ways it deeply satisfies us - particularly the relief that our clients feel from serious pain and discomfort. There’s so many more uniquely rewarding things about being a masseuse but we will leave that for another post.
