25.01.2022 Did your hair grow differently when you were pregnant and/or breastfeeding? Between having my two kids, a lovely friend of mine grew out, and donated her hair to a charity who were able to make wigs for people going through cancer treatment When I found out I was pregnant with my daughter I decided it was the perfect time to grow my hair with the aim of donating it around her first birthday. ... I didn’t quite get to the required length by the first birthday, but we are SO close! Now, when I go for the big chop, my hair will be the same length as my soon to be 20month old #contentologynov2020 #nicolamoras #donatingmyhair #nearlythere

20.01.2022 I would love to write a book one dayhow hard can it be when I get content like this everyday This kid makes us laugh so much. I always think I’ll remember these funny comments but I have forgotten a LOT. I need to start writing them down and get onto drafting my book #contentologynov2020 #nicolamoras

16.01.2022 I was talking to a parent the other day who was on the fence as to whether she wanted to work with me or not. She talked me through her sleep concerns, I discussed my philosophy around sleep, and gave an overview of the strategies I would suggest. She seemed quite happy with how it all sounded but then she asked, ‘Will I have to change every sleep straight away?’. She went on to say that she couldn’t bear the thought of having to attempt to change every nap, bedtime, and nig...ht waking all at once because she was just too exhausted. The thought of having to go ‘all or none’ had stopped her from reaching out for months This ‘all or none’ mindset has come up in previous conversations with parents, so I thought I’d share my response: When you make changes to your little one’s sleep routines or environment, you are not restricted to an all or none approach. I always suggest starting with bedtime, and depending on how old the little one is, one nap each day. You can then gauge how you and your little one respond to the changes and decide how quickly you move to implement the changes to night wakings and naps It’s important you feel the changes are manageable so you can go as fast or as slow as you need. Back to the question at hand: rainforest or desertgo somewhere in between #contentologynov2020 #nicolamoras

14.01.2022 At the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, we paused to remember the men and women who sacrificed their all for ours. We honoured them with silent reflection and sincerely thank those who are continuing to serve and protect our nation Lest we forget

13.01.2022 I’m having such a great time reminiscing about our childhood backyard this week! Christmas is a mere 6 weeks away! So we have started getting organised. My 4-year-old has asked for a trampoline so I dug up some photos of our backyard growing up to show him We spent hours out there with our cousins and friends, making up games and trying to outdo each other with new and daring tricks. I loved getting the sprinkler out on hot days. We put it near the trampoline and tried to... catch the rainbows as we jumped I’m so happy to be able to share in the excitement of my children as they bounce with their own cousins and friends Surely I’m not the only one that gets this much joy from the thought of making these memories with their kids??? Are you reliving childhood memories with your Christmas gifts this year? #contentologynov2020 #nicolamoras #christmasiscoming
