24.01.2022 Such a shame when you see a review of your business and you can’t reconcile with the reviewer. Even sadder, when you know that you tried your hardest to make that person happy, but nothing was good enough. Yeh, we don’t know what’s going on in your day, but you don’t know what’s going on in ours either. We can’t be everyone’s perfect I don’t normally read our reviews, but most of them are lovely, and it’s a good boost sometimes to see that feedback. Over the past few month...s, we have copped adult tantrums for not having tables available, having to sign your name in a book if you want to dine in, and many other first world problems that we can’t do much about with all the covid restrictions. How lucky are we to live in Queensland? Probably the best place in the world to be right now. So, it’s pretty rough when you read some rubbish about your staff or business that’s just not true. We pride ourselves on the politeness and helpful nature of our team. So if there’s any dramas with your experience, come and have a chat about it. Obviously we will do our best to rectify any issues. Hospitality is a stressful game, especially at the moment. Be kind, think about the impact of your words. Yeh, I have to remind myself of that every day, but at least I speak the truth. 23.01.2022 So, big news for us at husk and honey. We have put the cafe on the market! It’s been a good 10 year adventure, and we’re super proud of what we have achieved in building up a tiny little business into a thriving one. We’re so grateful to everyone who has been a part of this journey. Customers, staff, friends and family. We have built some lovely friendships over the years, and we will miss our regulars who have become part of our daily routine. Its time for us to follow oth...er career dreams now.
