24.01.2022 Thanks for your patience during the epidemic. As government restrictions have now been eased HAMR are back to running at our fluffy best. So if you or someone you know needs our help in rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming their beloved Husky or Malamute, we have foster homes of all configurations ready to assist! 22.01.2022 HAMR has been fortunate enough to have been recommended for a grant by the Lotterywest Board and it was approved by the Premier of Western Australia the Hon. Mark McGowan . Lotterywest is unique. It is the only lottery in Australia where money raised from the sale of Lotterywest games is distributed directly to the WA community through grants. Nearly 1000 different community organisations benefit every year as well as the arts, sports and health sectors. HAMR has been fortunate enough to be one of these community/charitable organisations. 21.01.2022 Meet BELLA! This gorgeous lady came into HAMR's care about a month ago. She was never advertised as we wanted to let her settle into foster care before advertising. As you know sometimes our caring foster families fall head over heels in love and can't say goodbye. This was the case for BELLA! Happy Gotcha Day!

12.01.2022 Well the day has come around that NEO has been officially adopted! This young fella has found his furever home with a family that have previously adopted through HAMR. If you've been following our rescue for a while his name is LYNX. NEO and LYNX love to cause mischief together! Even before his leg operation his foster carers fell in love with NEO and knew he was the perfect fit for their family. Happy Gotcha Day NEO!

12.01.2022 URGENT Please SHARE to help this dog For the first time ever HAMR are reaching out to find a specific foster home for one of our fluffbutts, RAVEN, she is Husky X Kelpie. Great with children and people but very hesitant around dogs. Were looking for a foster carer who is home at least 90% of the time or someone in the family that will be. RAVEN currently suffers chronic panic attacks and separation anxiety Were currently working with a Veterinary Behaviouralist who ...have her on a course of medication to ease her panic attacks and anxiety, so she can start to learn that people will come back to her. We supply all the food, and pay for her vet work. We just cant pay for your time or love. Your fencing will need to be at least 1.8m tall with nothing near it that can be climbed on, bottom of your fencing undiggable to prevent escaping or at the very least paving on your neighbours side. A few things to remember: - bring a towel for your dog and yourself - wet weather gear - wed recommend having two pairs of shoes. 01.01.2022 Even though the weather didn't play nicely, we were humbled by the commitment of the participants that still came to our HikE for HAMR event. We had an amazing day at Wookie Dogs Doggie Daycare . Fantastic that we were able to meet some new faces and their four legged companions.
