25.01.2022 Last Friday Hutchies Training welcomed The Hon Mick de Brenni, Minister for Housing and Public Works to our Midtown Centre project in the Brisbane CBD for the official launch of our newest flagship pop-up construction training school together with our @statimyaga and new Construction Sustainability & Technology initiatives. 17.01.2022 Last week, Hutchies celebrated NAIDOC 2020 by hosting several COVID-Safe events across Australia, both in our offices and on our sites. In support of QATSIF, we worked in partnership with Australian Unity to hold Funky Friday Fundraisers, inviting our people, subbies and clients to wear their most outrageous shirt and bring a gold coin donation. The day was fun and filled with colour as people went about their daily tasks dressed in their Friday bests. Together Hutchies and... Australian Unity raised over $2000 to go towards the great work that the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Foundation (QATSIF) does to support our Indigenous community. Ariana was not sure which trade she preferred. 02.01.2022 Not too long ago Hutchies Training teamed up with "Horses in Mind", a horse riding and development school. With the help of some of our students we helped construct animal shelters, pens, tables, chairs and pergolas. The school caters for all children, and specializes in children with difficulties to give the the opportunity to ride a horse. It is a worthy volunteer run organisation and we hope to work more with them in the future.
