25.01.2022 Hi all, So Christmas and New Years has been and gone it must be time to start sailing again. The Dam levels are lower then expected due to having to pump water to keep the golf course green in heat wave just gone. The island has reappeared but it’s still enough water to sail on eastern side. It’s about 6 lower. ... To get into routine next sail day will be Saturday 20th. All are welcome. If there are a few who wants to sail this weekend just let me know and grab the keys. I’m not available or able to drop the kayak down for rescue due to work. Hope to see you all on the water shortly.

25.01.2022 NOR is up for 2nd of December for the major presentation and final Df95 travellers series. You need to register via the df95nsw.com website

25.01.2022 Hi all so this weekend is the DF95 last round of the travellers series at Hunter and presentations. I need a show of hands on what you the skippers want to do. Weather isn’t looking good at all with heavy rain forecast and thunderstorms. Because it will be raining from tomorrow onwards the sailing area will be muddy, we have an option to sail the other side which has more grass. ... We have sailors traveling 2-3 hours to get here so we need insure safety and everyone agrees to sail under the conditions If we were to postpone we would look at either the following week or a fortnight to allow sailors to regroup Please respond to this post and let me know your thoughts.

24.01.2022 At this stage we're still sailing tomorrow. The rain shouldn't effect us to much. We have had few confirmed so come on out Gates open at 11:00 Racing starts at 12:00 Df65 & Df95 ... I hope to see you there. See more

22.01.2022 Just a reminder no sailing tomorrow, Hoping we will have enough water for next week in the Dam. The rain will help. The pumping of water has been delayed due to the pump needing replacing, I'm still chasing to have the water pumped as soon as possible.

17.01.2022 Our Prayers have been answered, the dam is now filling up. The island is nearly gone now. So sailing this Saturday is on spread the word Gates open at 11:00am first race at 12 noon. No BBQ this week so bring a bite to eat See you there.

14.01.2022 So the Dam level is at an all time low. I was hoping for the Dam to be topped up but this has been delayed No sailing this Saturday as result of the low level . We will try again in 2weeks hopefully we will have more water.

13.01.2022 Saturday was a great day sailing, we had 5x Df95 and 3x Df65. Wind was good still A rig. We did have a 90 deg shift in the wind from north to east. So there a few course changes. This week we try the up and down course with 65 windward bout 20meters shorter. This work really well the 65 coming home first in some of the races. Due to good water depth it was the first time we sailing from the western side too. ... Next sail day is the 2 nd of December which is the last round of the travellers series. If there is any members that can lend a hand please let know. Hope to see you all there.

03.01.2022 So Last Saturday we had a great day we kept it more a social day. Smaller turn out due to holidays with a few away. We had 2x 65 and 4 x95 . We had the 65 sailing 2 laps with the 95 sailing 3 laps. The 65 stayed in font all day we just couldn't catch them. most of the races we were all on the last leg to the finish. The good news is we had enough water to sail and the course was a good size. The breeze was a shifty westerly around 15 knots. All chose the B rig due to stronger gusts. All welcome for the next sail, date to be announced due to other regattas. Stay tuned
