10.01.2022 Midnight snack The Fluffiest Whole Grain Pancakes by @plantbasedrd - Ingredients... 1 ripe banana 1 tbsp ground flax seeds 2 tbsp water 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 1/4 tsp salt 2 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 1 tbsp sugar or maple syrup 1 1/2 cups white whole wheat flour 1 1/4 cups non-dairy milk 1/3 or more cups frozen blueberries Zest of one lemon (optional) . Preheat a griddle or pan. In a mixing bowl, add banana and with a whisk or fork mash banana until mostly smooth. Add in flax seed and water and give mixture a good stir and let sit for 2-3 minutes. Next add in apple cider vinegar, vanilla, salt, and sugar and mix this in well. Add in baking soda and baking powder. Stir well again and you will notice the mixture react and start to fluff up. Add in flour, zest and milk and mix to form a thick batter (avoid over mixing). Fold in blueberries into the batter. When griddle is ready, scoop 1/4 cup of pancake batter onto griddle surface and cook for 2-3 minutes or until bottom of pancake is golden. Flip and cook other side for 2-3 minutes as well. 03.01.2022 Training Methods: Using supersets. What is a superset? By definition a superset is two exercises preferably of opposite muscle groups with no rest in between. There are two options when performing this in which a true superset is performing an opposite muscle group after completing the first exercise. For example, performing a bench press then following up with a Dumbbell row. Another way you can utilize these supersets is by creating a compound superset where you utilize t...he same muscles. For example, performing a bench press then following up with push ups. The superset using opposite muscles allows you to be able to recover faster than the second option. I like doing supersets because it allows me so save time as well as I get the desired effect I want. These workouts can be intense, as well as short when you're constantly on the go. Plus, I get that pump feeling that most of us look for to validate our workouts. You can be smart when creating this type of workout routine. Pick 3 exercises and their opposite muscle group and do 3 sets of 10-12 reps of each and rest after each superset 30 sec to a minute and you're done.
