17.01.2022 As we look forward to the new year, HYPAR WILD will be stepping up its activities, including camps, group day activities and 1:1 mentoring. Activities are self-paced and tailored to meet the needs of the individual and are available to all ages. Beginning 6 January, HYPAR Wild will be running weekly group activities each Wednesday. These activities will be held across Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast and will include activities such as mountain biking, kayaking, abseiling and... rock climbing. HYPAR Wild will also be running camps fortnightly from 22 January. Camps are billed through NDIS and Child Safety and other funding bodies where applicable and focus on building skills and capacity in young people. Camps focus on challenging participants and assisting them in dealing with stress, basic living skills such as cooking and planning and encouraging prosocial interactions with peers. 02.01.2022 Movember Australia 2020 done! Following a successful debut campaign, and with HYPAR Group matching individual fundraising efforts, we are pleased to share that Team HYPAR has raised $4,392 for Movember in support of men's health. A big thank you to anyone who has supported us and helped raise awareness and funds for the cause, and to anyone who has put up with dubious mos or tired bodies throughout November. Supporting men's health is at the centre of everything we do at HY...PAR, and we have been happy to play our part this year. Since its inception in 2003, Movember has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world, shaking up men’s health research and transforming the way health services reach and support men. By 2030, it aims to reduce the number of men dying prematurely by 25%.
