25.01.2022 Toy overload after Christmas! I have been wanting to sort out all the toys at our place since Christmas hit. Today I finally got the chance to go through and do just that. I use a cube unit from @ikea_australia and baskets for toy storage. Why? It looks good, it’s practical for my daughter to use and most of all it’s easy to pack away!! It works a treat in our house, especially because we don’t have the luxury of a play room. 13.01.2022 Today’s mood board Monday is a followers choice. The brief was inspo for a canopy bed and some recommendations. A canopy bed can bed styled soft and romantic with lots of draping or kept minimal and let the structure speak for itself as a feature. Depending on your style will depend on which way you go. If you have a more modern style keep it simple and go with a contrast finish on the frame. More traditional draping works well with costal, Hamptons, farm house and boho looks. Swipe for inspo! 07.01.2022 Layers. Styling is all about layers. While the finishing touches are by far my favourite part when styling you need to have a good foundation. The base of a colour palette is good colour choice (paint and flooring) and then large furniture pieces once your set on your base colours. Once you have those sorted then your good to go with your styling layer over the top. Without a good base your end result won’t work as well as it should.
