25.01.2022 As we celebrate the feast of our Guardian Angels, let us say that prayer we were often taught as children- an excellent practice that Popes and saints have recommended throughout the centuries. Indeed, God so loves us and desires our salvation that He has committed us to the care of His ministering spirits. Let us thank them for their care and continue to entrust ourselves to their guidance as they lead us home to Heaven

24.01.2022 Happy Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary! As we celebrate Marys birthday today, let us take time during our day to turn to her in prayer with gratitude for her maternal intercession and care.

24.01.2022 Did you know that our Parish motto comes from the first letter of St Peter as he greets the community he is writing to? May we also as members of our Parish Com...munity be instruments and signs to those around us, especially at this difficult time, of the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ. See more

23.01.2022 Places of worship are being treated in an inequitable way by the Victorian government's current restrictions in the ‘Roadmap for Reopening'. A small group of people of faith have started an online petition to immediately correct this inequality. We need your help! We ask you to read, consider signing and distribute the petition to people you know. Many of Victoria's faith communities are coming together and raising their voices. We expect to be treated fairly and equitably by... the Victorian government's 'Roadmap for Reopening'. Now over 4800 people have already signed the #equalityforfaith petition to the Premier. We need your signature too! Please go to www.equalityforfaith.com.au and sign the petition. It is a great time to explore the Seven Sorrows Devotion, which St Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother and St Bridget passed on to us and recommended. In this time of isolation and sorrow for many people during this pandemic, let us pray for them and for ourselves that like Our Lady, we may continue to deepen our trust in God who walks with us on the pilgrimage of life every step of the way (be it a time of joy, or sorrow) and have the courage to share the burdens of others in times of great pain and difficulty.
