24.01.2022 There is a great model I teach in coaching sessions and in the training room and that is Above the line Below the line. Above the line choose to be: 1. Ownership Take ownership of the good and the bad.... 2. Accountable Be accountable to themselves and others. 3. Response-able Make better decisions at the moment. This is where you are a true leader and live victoriously. Below the line live in victim mode full of: 1. Blame It’s everyone else’s fault, not theirs 2. Excuses Shirk any responsibility 3. Denial Refuse to accept the situation You can’t control what happens to you however YOU can control how you respond and move forward. When you assume and increase your responsibility for the situations you will probably come up with a solution going forward that serves you better and help you build on success. Whether you own a business or lead a team you can dramatically improve the outcome by adopting an above the line mentality. Everyone has moments that feel below the line worthy the key is to recognize it and own how you are feeling.

21.01.2022 School holidays. Day 3. Love our slow mornings. Benefit of having my own business is scheduling my hours to work for Frankie and I. ... First coaching session never starts before 930. Always available to do the morning drop off. With school hols we cruise. Today she’s gone to her dads house for a couple of nights ..... Perfect for me to do lots of sessions and other work. My VA is amazing. Her talent profile is the EXACT opposite of mine. PERFECT. She is consistent, systematic and doesn’t get distracted by shiny objects I used to be so hard on myself not being more consistent with the repetitive tasks that were more process oriented. 21.01.2022 Holidays and self care...... As a mum and a business owner it can feel like I never switch off (if I let it) .... responsible for keeping many balls in the air. Ultimately it’s my choice to make decisions that serve me and my daughter. ... The last couple of summers haven’t been blissful or relaxing at all. I didn’t take enough time off. Kept on for clients over the break without giving myself space to chill. Went into planning mode too hard and fast and by the time Frankie went back to school I felt like I was already half way through the year. This year is different. I’ve blocked out time off in my calendar around when I have Frankie or she’s at her dads house. My clients have my calendly link and options of when to book in. My days for strategy calls with potential clients are scheduled and my VA is working on some new projects. Frankster and I are enjoying this summer so much more as I’m present and not stressed out worrying about the shoulda’s and coulda’s I’ve been doing a lot of self-coaching around this particularly around money mindset of making business and life easier. My favourite money mantra there are easier ways to make money is a fav. Here’s to a more flowing 2021..... Renovate houses (like I did in my mid 20’s), fly planes like the pilots we chatted to last year ... She was chuffed with helping me ... We talk about fire fighters instead of firemen. 12.01.2022 What you visualize and believe is what becomes true. Tell yourself that you’re not good with money, and you won’t be. Believe that budgets are horrible chores to be reviled, and you’ll resist creating one. Convince yourself that you can’t earn a 6 or 7 figure income, and you won’t.... It’s not the secret. It’s a scientific fact. Known as a self-fulfilling prophecy, this kind of self-talk results in poor performance simply because we act as if it’s already true.

06.01.2022 I was talking to a client and she was a bit wobbly on one of her big goals this year and we talked through how it's such a fine line of fear and excitement at the same time. I shared with her the expression 'feel the fear, have the doubts and go for it anyway... Whilst it's so normal to experience a wealth of different feelings when stretching yourself to go for a bigger goal don't let 'Imposter Syndrome' dominate...... She was experiencing classic symptoms of imposter syndrome - where she was so doubtful of her ability to succeed and she didn't deserve it also that she was going to be exposed as a fraud!!! Have you ever experienced this? In coaching we are going to go deeper into this and how to work through it because unless it's addressed it will undermine all your hard work and effort to going for your goals. This year has seen a spike in domestic violence and the biggest impact ..... no surprises here ..... women and children Lockdowns, layoffs, isolation and financial pressure are a violent combo compounding danger for too many. Frankie and I donate to local women shelters both financially and with items that can be useful to the women and children desperately seeking safety and protection throughout the year. ... This Christmas we have also donated to a wonderful charity supporting children in the foster system.
