25.01.2022 I never get tired of the craze glaze. I made this glaze about 38 years ago and over the years it has changed because of the variation in glaze materials however, it's still a beautiful glaze.

20.01.2022 I've had a lot of fun over the past month making lots of orders and even had time for a bit of creative work. Got to love that!

16.01.2022 A couple of nice pieces from a recent firing. Both using the same technique. I've designed a coloured slip which I spray under the glaze and in an oxidation firing at around 1200c the Iron oxide atom (Fe2O3) looses it's ability to hold onto the Oxygen atom and its release into the glaze above, causing it to drag some of the oxcide with it After the bubble has burst on the surface it smoothes out and becomes a coloured spot. The plate on the left has a semi transparent copper glaze over the slip and the bowl on the right has a white saturn matt glaze over the same slip. Just incase you were wondering how it's done!
