24.01.2022 Round 3 of the V8 Superboats was held at Cabarita Tweed Coast Jet Sprint Club last weekend. The weather wasn't flash but the forecast rain held off so that was a bonus. Congratulations to Hazardous08 Racing Slade and Vanessa Stanley winning another round of the series, also to PK 4zero Jetsprint Race Team and Blackout Racing for their class wins. Photos and videos are on the way, in the mean time here's a few from Sunday. Paul Burgess, Darrin Kesper, Peter Monger, Rampage Racing 33, The Girlfriend V8 Jetsprint team

24.01.2022 The MG Car Club of Qld Inc and Mt Cotton Hillclimb Covid Cup done and dusted. The weather held out nicely and it was a bit cooler than Saturday making it nicer around the track. Got heaps of photos to go through. Here's a few from today.

23.01.2022 Lakeside, twice in two weeks, could be my new favourite place. Attended a Classic Bike QEMSC Queensland Early Motorcycle Sports Club day yesterday. The classics ran from 8:30am till about 12:30pm and Race Your Mates ran in the afternoon. So good to see such a wide variety of bikes and quite a few sidecars. Photos from the Classics part of the day are up on my web site here https://www.iancolleyphotography.com.au/f52225223 and here's a couple from the day.

23.01.2022 Here's a bit of fun from last Sunday at Mt Cotton Hillclimb. Photos will be on my web site later in the week.

23.01.2022 Saturday official practise at MG Car Club of Qld Inc and Mt Cotton Hillclimb done and dusted. Interrupted with some rain a couple of times just as the track was drying out nicely but ya get that. Hoping for fine weather tomorrow. Here's a few from today until I get organised with uploads to my web site. Mt Cotton hillclimb - unofficial fan page

22.01.2022 working my way through the photos. Here's a few more from the QHC MG Car Club of Qld Inc and Mt Cotton Hillclimb. The winner and a couple of other wheel lifters :-) Congratulations Dean Amos

22.01.2022 The last round of the 2019 AFJSA V8 Superboats series was held last weekend at Cabarita by the Tweed Valley Jet Sprint Club Inc. in sunny, hot but smokey conditions. The field was a bit skinny on Superboats but good numbers of 400's and LS Class boats made it an action packed meeting. Congratulations to all the round winners and to the championship winners. I have taken plenty of photos and will be working my way through them but in the meantime here a few photos of some unplanned excursions on the day. It was good to see everyone walk away, albeit a bit battered and bruised but not seriously hurt from some big hits. V8 Jetboats, Global V8 Jet Sprinting

22.01.2022 Queensland Hillclimb Championships 1st day of practise today at MG Car Club of Qld Inc and Mt Cotton Hillclimb. Photos coming to my website soon. Here's a few from the day. Mt Cotton hillclimb - unofficial fan page

21.01.2022 Stuck at home like most of us hanging out for any sort of racing to start again so I decided to go through some old racing photos and share a few every week (or when I get the chance). First cab off the rank some Jetboats from a June 2008 meeting at Cabarita, more from this meeting to come. Tweed Coast Jet Sprint Club

20.01.2022 Photos from all 3 days of the QHC at MG Car Club of Qld Inc and Mt Cotton Hillclimb are sorted and now uploaded to my web site. I'm still getting used to some new gear and ended up taking close to 13,000 photos over the 3 days (madness), uploading about 3500 to my galleries. If you would like to buy photos of your entry at the event I am offering a deal until the end of September. All the full-size (6000 x 4000 pixel) photos of your car ( I will include many that I did not up...load to my web site as well ) for $75 instead of the usual $100. If you would like to take advantage of this deal please email me with your contact and car details and I will arrange a folder for you to download the photos from as there is no option for this in the shopping cart on my site. Photos loaded to a USB stick and posted to you can be arranged for an extra $10. Photos can be viewed at the attached link https://www.iancolleyphotography.com.au/f669892954 See more

14.01.2022 Finally got out to play with some new gear a couple of weeks ago. The 2020 motor racing season has been a bit of a write off unfortunately but things are starting to look up with local Brisbane circuits opening back up. Happy Days. I managed to get out to a QR MOTO RIDE DAYS Group event a couple of weeks ago and have posted photos on my web site here https://www.iancolleyphotography.com.au/f216985778 Here's a few from the day. The rider in the 4th photo got up, dusted himself off and walked away, thankfully.

01.01.2022 Round 5 of the MG Car Club of Qld Hillclimb series was held last weekend in sunny warm Qld weather. I got to Sunday's competition and took heaps of photos and am working through them as quick as I can. Congrats to Dean Amos for his win for the weekend and sad to see Jim Milliner's accident result in a bit of damage to the car but thankfully none to Jim. Here are some photos from the day including a couple of the start of Jim's wild ride. I will post a link when the photos are finished.
