04.01.2022 Twelve months ago this week, Ian and his amazing band wrapped up the 2019 leg of the MB30th Anniversary tour and as we looked forward to the 2020 MB30th Anniversary Regional tour, who could have anticipated what was about to unfold which, on March 18, stopped touring for the foreseeable future and changed 90% of our plans for the year. That said we must look for the positives and 2020 hasn't all been crap. We released LIVE; the killer recording from the 2018 tour, the birth o...f the MOSSPIT series of excellent live acoustic performances, some excellent live stream sets, lots of songwriting, 137 Zoom calls, big plans made for 2021 and beyond, spending time with our families and finally being back in the saddle and on a stage. And let's not forget the headline of the year: Biden Wins! Hell, we might even have a new studio album soon! We want to thank you for hanging in there with us throughout 2020, and we hope we have played a small part in you keeping your sanity as well. We will be taking a break for summer, and we will be back soon. In the meantime, have a safe and happy Xmas, all the best for 2021, please be vigilant, keep doing the right thing and be kind to each other. Written by Cold Chisel bandmate Don Walker, 'All Alone On A Rock' appeared on the album 'Petrolhead' (produced by Don Walker) which was released on August 5th 1996. It was the third single from the album with one of the B-sides, a live version recorded At The Gershwin Room, Melbourne, Sept. 1996. An acoustic version is also on Six Strings. #themosspit
