12.01.2022 Great news this week about Ruby (Year 12) who has been awarded a top hospitality scholarship to the International College of Hotel Management (ICHM). Ruby will study a Bachelor of Business (Hospitality Management) and a Master of International Hotel Management, and is one of just eight scholarship winners for 2021 at ICHM, whose graduates mostly go on to roles in five-star hotels throughout Australia and overseas, many as general managers. 11.01.2022 Congratulations to Year 10 students Grace and Ilya who placed first out of 55 teams in SA Grand Final of Evatt Competition as part of UN Youth Australia. They were further recognised as Best Legislators as a team and Ilya was awarded Best Speaker of the competition. Grace and Ilya will now compete in the Evatt National Finals in early December. 07.01.2022 Results are in - Jeffcott Jags have taken the win for the fourth year in a row! Power-house, Jeffcott walked away with the overall ICOSA Shield, as well as Senior & Middle School Shields. The Morphett Monsters came in second. The Dohler Roos won the War Cry in a close result with the Morphett Monsters. ... Hawker took out the Relay Shield. Congratulations to all of our students, staff and parents for making today's Athletics Carnival such an amazing day. We really missed it last year, and the spirit today was fantastic to see. * Due to the rain, the Tug of War was postponed until next week; more to come.

07.01.2022 A big shout out to these legends in this rollercoaster week! The cast of our Drama Production Robin'z Hood were due to perform next week, but due to continuing COVID-19 restrictions, we are unable to go ahead as planned. We are doing all we can so these students can perform Robin'z Hood for our community in Term 1 2021. They were due to start a rehearsal when news of the lockdown broke on Wednesday. But in a testament to the spirit & resilience of our students in 2020, they b...rushed off the disappointment, and performed these musical numbers from the show to give us a preview. Hopefully this can bring you some joy in this crazy week.

05.01.2022 Great story in The Advertiser today about our incredible Open A Girls Basketball team. The team has not lost a game over the past three years, making it the most successful girls basketball team in our 125-year history. This has led to it being nominated for a Messenger School Sports Award.

Great news that our Girls team are State Athletics Champions taking out 1st place - wow! 01.01.2022 Check out this incredible new song 'Be enough' on Immanuel's music label 32Records by Year 7 student Aisha. At just 13, Aisha is a singer/songwriter who composes and records her own songs and aspires to pursue music in the future. 'Be enough' earned her a place as a finalist in the 2020 ACMF National Songwriting Competition placing her in the top 11% in Australia. Aisha says "I wanted the people who listened to feel the emotions and to really connect or relate to the lyrics.... For me, sad songs are really interesting to write because I love expressing emotion in my music." Well done Aisha! Just amazing! #immanuel125 #immanuelmusic
