25.01.2022 Matt, Andrew, and Tom have been carefully cultivating their moustaches this Movember to promote awareness of men's health along with raising funds for groundbreaking projects in mental health and suicide prevention. Like the Social Innovators Challenge a Movember-funded initiative that puts mental health help into the hands of men through community meet-ups think pie clubs, surfing groups and more.

19.01.2022 This week Matt attended the annual ICAC conference in Brisbane. Aside from plenty of interesting sessions delegates took time out to attend a number of social functions. Pictured are Roger Tomkins (S&G Cotton), Bernie George (Auscott), and Adam Kay (Cotton Australia) washing the dust out of their throats at the Australian Outback Spectacular.

19.01.2022 As we navigate our way through these unfamiliar times it is our intention to approach this challenge on a business as usual basis for as long as we are able. At this point there are no noticeable changes to the service that we deliver. However behind the scenes we have implemented our crisis management plan allowing staff to operate offsite as required. We encourage you to continue to contact us through the normal channels and the office will be staffed during regular business hours.

17.01.2022 Our business is proud to have been assisting rural producers with cotton and grain marketing for the past 19 years. On National Agriculture Day we would like to wish our clients all the best for a more productive 2020. #AgDayAU #WeAreAusFarmers

15.01.2022 *** Meet the Team - Andrew *** Andrew grew up on a farming operation south of Tara, with his rural interests leading him to complete a Bachelor of Ag.Economics from UNE, Armidale. Once Andrew completed his studies he returned home for a few years to assist in running the family farm. From 2001 to 2005, Andrew worked for GrainCo, MarketLink and GrainCorp as a Regional Grain Marketer servicing the marketing requirements of growers in southern and central QLD. From 2005 to mid ...2008 Andrew was employed by Elders as the Queensland Grain Accumulation Manager. In that role he managed and skilled relevant QLD branch staff to accumulate grain through the Elders network, as well as direct grower business. Focused and driven, Andrew brings to ICM knowledge and experiences of local and international grain markets that proves beneficial in the management of his client's marketing goals. See more

15.01.2022 RBA reduced the official cash rate by 0.25% to a record low of 0.75% this afternoon, as expected. The board confirmed in their accompanying statement that they will cut rates further if deemed necessary to support jobs and wage growth.

13.01.2022 A sight to behold and also a great relief to see Beardmore Dam full! Hope to see similar sights in NSW in the not too distant future.

11.01.2022 Agriculture Victoria's Grains Innovation Park at Horsham have been using digital image analysis to determine quality traits in pulses. Potentially this technology may replace traditional visual assessment of samples upon delivery. https://groundcover.grdc.com.au//pulse-value-chain-set-to-

09.01.2022 Despite the unfavourable local conditions we are currently experiencing, ICM would like you to join us in celebrating the cotton industry's World Cotton Day.

08.01.2022 Mike Shields is finally hanging up his Grower Services’ hat after 41 years in the cotton industry. Mike started his journey with Twynam, then moved to CTC, and finally Auscott Limited where he has spent the last 21 years. We will certainly miss Mike’s unique sense of humour and smiling face. He is pictured here with Anna Dawson, Vice President and Club Secretary, standing on the new synthetic bowling green at the Warren Golf Club. It is pleasing to see the development of a wonderful community asset in one of our key agricultural towns, particularly in the current depressed environment. We would like to wish Shieldsy all the best in his retirement at the end of November and hope you stay fit, fat, and full of fun.

07.01.2022 Wishing you a safe and happy holiday this Christmas from all the team at ICM

03.01.2022 Katie Ledingham and Tim Leifels are standing in a crop of Suntop wheat planted in mid May on Alice Downs South East of Moree. Cereal crops in the area are generally in good condition although we are very conscious that they will need a meaningful fall of rain within the next 6 weeks for potential to be realised. 01.01.2022 It was good to get out of the office recently to check out good crops at Condamine and west of Moree, even if some are a little advanced. Like many areas in QLD and northern NSW, Inglestone is desperately looking for rain, if not for the crops then at least for the golf course!! Photos taken by Andrew Edwards
