23.01.2022 ICORE Australia have a new membership renewal system. Emails will be sent to your nominated email address to invite you to renew your membership via a email payment portal system. Please make sure your email address is updated with us to ensure this email is sent to the correct address. These emails will be sent in Feb 2020. If you are unfinancial with us, you will need to be in contact with our membership director [email protected] If you are a new member, please use our website to join ICORE Australia.

22.01.2022 The 2020 WA State Titles in Carnarvon entry form is now available via our website and here on Facebook. The 2020 Victorian State Titles are also available on here via practiscore, please go to events and click on the Vic State Title to see the Practiscore link.

22.01.2022 ICORE AUSTRALIA AGM 11th Feb 2021 at 2100hrs AEST Meeting will be conducted on the Zoom platform. All financial are encourage to attend. 21.01.2022 We have introduced something new, its called State Team Selection. We now have a competition to create state teams to compete at our Regionals. These matches are shot every three months to allow you to obtain points. These points are added against your name and if you become the highest point scoring competitor for your state, then you will be awarded to take a position on your state team for your chosen division. Please see our website under "State Team Selection" and see the benefits. Get your club involved to host these matches!

HOWEVER WE ARE STILL REQUIRED TO CONDUCT AN AGM. WE ARE SEEKING DIRECTION FROM THE VICTORIAN CONSUMER AFFAIRS IF THE AGM CAN BE POSTPONED FOR NEXT YEAR, IF NOT WE WILL BE CONDUCTING THE AGM VIA OUR BOD MEETING VOICE PLATFORM.... Angela (media) here - and I know that I didn't attend NSW Titles due to a broken ankle, couldn't attend QLD Titles due to being overseas, and cannot attend the Regionals (again due to being overseas - mad year!!) So just wondering why the numbers are down for the Regionals and State Titles this year? They are in all locations and they need our support.... Would love your feedback to gauge what is happening in our world of ICORE. As you can see, my life is a madhouse - and maybe yours is too? But if there is another reason, we need to know so we can change dates, locations etc to make it work for YOU. Cheers Angela

Hello all members, it is with regret that I inform you I am standing down from the position of Chairman at this years online AGM due to private reasons. If you or you know of someone that can fill this position, please be in contact with me [email protected] and I will give you some information what this position entails. It is not a big job, mainly to conduct monthly meetings. ICORE Australia is still looking for a member to take on the Australian Representative to the USA as this position is vacant. Please get your nominations into the secretary when they are emailed out to all members.

11.01.2022 AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN OF ICORE AUSTRALIA TO ALL ICORE AUSTRALIA MEMBERS. Its with regret to inform you all due to the unforeseen circumstance we are facing in this country at the moment, we have canceled the Western Australian, Northern Territory, New South Wales and the Victorian State Titles due to the epidemic "Covid-19" until further notice. We have spoken about the 2020 Australian Regionals and the QLD State Titles where we will assess that as time progr...esses. It is important to understand that decision was not easy to make and myself giving it some solid thought over the last 7 days in relation to the possibility of being infected without knowledge and passing it onto our family and friends is certainly not cool! Need to say the potential risk of domestic flights being canceled while away competing and not being able to get home. I do not understand this epidemic entirely with other statistics being higher with the common flu, however I and the BOD are not medical experts nor govt officials so we have to follow suit with other organizations that have taken this direction to cancel and assess the direction and information we receive on daily basis from state and federal government officials and the health professionals. We will assess this issue as the weeks/months go by and if this settles down and societyreturns to business as usual, there is the possibility that these matches could be re-instated, however that is the discretion of the host club due to its calendar. I would also announce that our inaugural state team selection has also been cancelled to next year. Your club can still participate in these matches and you can send your results to [email protected] for maybe bragging rights? Pretty unusual times we have at the moment and I hope this is resolved quick smart so our lives can resume back to normal. So members please be safe out there, always remember you're hygiene is the best defence for this virus and I'm sure we can knock this on the head very soon if we all help each other and be very mindful of our health. 04.01.2022 Hi all this is Stuart Forster Chaiman of ICORE Australia, just thought I would write a match report of the 2019 WA State Titles at Nickol Bay Karratha. The weather was absolutely magic, nice calm breeze with a day temp between 27-30deg. 12 stages created and wow they were great stages, included was a massive 50 round stage and that certainly played a big role shooting accurately when you are dry reaching at the end because you are out of breath......I certainly was and every...one watching me thought they needed the defib :) Stages like the bus, the caravans, the ute and the helicopter were so well thought of and a lot of thanks goes to Kim (Piggy) who is relative new to ICORE but obvious not new to stage design, thanks very much Kim really well done! After the days competition, it was a few drinks around the fire at night, some dinner and talking about what we all did wrong on day 1.......my day one was great, day 2 well........see practiscore :) The only disappointing part of the the whole match was the attendance, 17 competitors in total with only 4 from Perth (myself, John, Greg and Geoff thanks for making the effort), I just hope next time there will be a little more support from Perth since these guys support Perth. However it is what it is and the competitors that were there were the ones that mattered and we all had a fat time. Thanks to team Carnarvon for coming along, you guys contributed to the match and made the match for what it was. Also thanks to Dave from Broome taking part as well. I would like to thank the Nickol Bay Pistol Club for hosting this match, a big thanks to Steve D and his team including the kitchen staff for looking after us. ICORE Australia is appreciative for the support given by Nickol Bay for hosting this match. Again Steve had put a lot effort into this match so well done mate hope to come up again in the not so distance future, just a great club! Next year is up for grabs, word on the street might be Carnarvon, hint hint nudge nudge but I encourage all clubs if you want to host the 2020 WA State Titles, please put in a submission to our secretary to be discussed at our BOD meeting. Hosting an event like this is a big deal, its hard work but rewarding at the end of it, ICORE Australia and personally myself is very appreciative towards all members and clubs that host these events every year which supports ICORE Australia. 04.01.2022 BIG NEWS FROM USA! INTERNATIONAL REVOLVER CHAMPIONSHIPS IRC Hosts Selected for the Years 2020, 2021, 2022!... June 20, 2019 - On behalf of the ICORE Board of Directors, Co-Chair Mike Homm announces the Central Florida Rifle and Pistol Club (CFRPC), home to ICORE's Central Florida Wheelgunners in Orlando, FL, as host of the 2020 International Revolver Championship (IRC), from October 29 - November 1, 2020! RUGER joins the IRC as Title Sponsor! About ICORE ICORE was founded in 1991. The sport combines elements of Bianchi Cup, IPSC/USPSA, and Steel Challenge into demanding competition exclusively for revolvers, and ICORE shooters travel to the U.S. from Europe, Canada, and Australia for the IRC. From CFRPC Executive Officer Neil Saville and ICORE Discipline Director Keith Malmos, "Our club has hosted major Glock and Single Action Shooting Society (SASS) championships, and our Central FL ICORE affiliate club is excited to be able to showcase such a unique Championship next year!" Bob Hunt, former ICORE director, returns to serve as Match Director. ICORE will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the IRC in 2021 when it moves to the Shootout Range in Princeton, LA, home of the renowned Jerry Miculek and Kay Clark Miculek, with Annette Aysen as Match Director! Then in 2022, with Patricia Johnson and Greg Petroski as Match Directors, the IRC will take over the Green Valley Rifle and Pistol Club, Hallsville, MO, home to the NRA Bianchi Cup for 40 years! 03.01.2022 ****ALL MEMBERS**** its with regret to inform our Australian Representative to the USA has resigned due to private life issues and he is time poor for the position, we will like to thank Pat O'Toole for giving the position a go and wish him every success for the future. ICORE Australia is looking for a member that can take on this temporary position until the AGM in October. IS THAT YOU? This role entails attending the USA board meetings by a voice program, these meeting att...endances is to communicate between ICORE Australia and our parent body ICORE. Duties include like obtaining information on what is happening in the US in relation ICORE, obtaining sponsorship support from the US, obtaining information in relation to rule changes etc, all these items that need addressing is what keeps ICORE Australia alive and well. It is up to the ICORE Australia membership to take on position on the Board of Directors if ICORE Australia is to proceed into the future or we don't have an association. ICORE Australia relies on its members to manage this association. Membership fees are reimbursed for the term of being appointed.
