25.01.2022 While the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic have been dominating headlines, ICPA (Aust) has been working hard in the background on a number of other topics and i...ssues which affect our rural and remote families. We welcomed the news in June, of the Tertiary Access Payment (TAP) for rural and remote students wishing to undertake tertiary study, however have been seeking further detail on modifications to the initial TAP announcement. ICPA (Aust) has had the opportunity to work closely with Minister Andrew Gee MP's office on this recently. We look forward to further details of the implementation, criteria and application process for the Tertiary Access Payment and will keep members informed as information comes to hand. The Taskforce is a way for young peo...ple in regional and rural NSW from age 12 24 to have their say on what they want and need in services in the bush. The group will again be made up of two young people from each region of NSW who provide advice direct to government on issues that affect them and their peers. 11.01.2022 There has been so much assistance from ICPA- whether it be it connectivity/roads/scholarship/border issues/boarder issues/ distance ed,funding advertising/telecommunications the list goes on!! So blessed- this is a no brainer!

11.01.2022 And our push continues!!! If you have a minute watch and share this video to help keep spreading the message that some Qld boarding school students will still ...be stranded in Qld for the September school holidays, seperated from families, unless there is further review. These kids need a voice and we are happy to help with that. #iamICPA #educatenotdiscriminate #nobordersforboarders See more

11.01.2022 Adolescence is essentially a stage of life where the young person is trying out new ways of feeling, thinking and behaving. This critical stage can be confusing... and challenging for some young people. It can also be challenging for the adults who support them. Read more about how to adapt, parent effectively and connect with your changing young person here > bit.ly/3kCVUwd.
