25.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Thank you for being so patient with me. I am going to launch some free online classes as a trial run this week. If the internet is kind to me and it all goes well I hope to give everyone the option to still do classes slightly discounted till the end of the term online. Please check your emails and junk mail (just incase) as I have sent you all an email with a link for your free trial class for this week. If your email has not come through please contact me. 25.01.2022 A few of you have messaged me about restrictions to see if we are still at the hall this week. Yes we will be as we are under 20ppl per class with enough space to spread out.

24.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Online classes start up as of Monday. I have attached a timetable for you all. We have tried our best to make the least changes possible to class times and days, but have got a couple of changes due to us running all our online classes from the same location and also to work in with all our teachers who are homeschooling their children as well. I hope the changes don't inconvenience anyone too much. ... One change I am making this term is we are going to teach with mirrors which means no more having to "mirror" your dance teacher when learning choreography as this can sometimes be quite challenging. Just remember as teachers we are here to support you this is your time to connect with your teacher and friends and we can all keep on moving inspiring each other and expressing ourselves to music while having fun! So whether your in your lounge room or bedroom or out on the back deck this is YOUR time out to clear your head and break out of the everyday feeling of isolation. Let's do this together!!! 24.01.2022 IDANCE SCHOLARSHIP REVEAL 2020!!!! Hi Again, We know their has been a few of you wondering about our scholarship this year. Being our last night of filming we have a few more awards to give. We are going to be announcing our scholarship winner along with a couple of awards so if you would like to come down for the reveal all students and parents are welcome. We will be doing it at around 7pm at the Rotunda on Mount Batten Avenue. Hope some of you can make it!!

24.01.2022 For those of you wondering there is dancing this coming week! We will be having our last class for the year celebrating with our teachers, so come to your usual classes and enjoy the last week of celebrations. We will lead into next year with an open week for you to bring along some friends to try out our classes then. If you are sure already you would like to re-enrol please let your teacher know this week and we will note it down so you don’t miss out as we will again be ...capping classes at 15 students in 2021. Well done everyone on an amazing week of filming we had so much fun with you all. We can’t wait to reflect with you all next week. (As soon as DVDs arrive you will all be notified for collection). 20.01.2022 Hi Everyone, just a quick reminder to our Monday night idancers that tonight there is dancing but next week Monday 9th we are closed. Tuesday the 10th of March we are open again and all classes will go ahead as normal. All Tuesday 10th classes will have the priveledge of having Vikki as I am away. ... Wednesday night 11th March I hope you all go down and dance to Katy Perry and send me the footage! All of you know her songs from our classes so make sure you dance up a storm!! Xxxx

14.01.2022 The scholarship for 2020 has been won!!! The winner is ADDYSON BALDOCK! Congratulations Addyson!! Addyson was nominated by her teacher Marcia as she has been respectful, hardworking, focused during every class, and her attendance is one of the best in the school. I had the pleasure myself of teaching Addyson in term 2 online this year and Addyson was a little apprehensive coming into a combined class of inters and teens. The routine learnt was quite a fast and technical one but by the end of term Addyson was a standout knowing it from start to finish. Addyson is a quiet achiever never pushing to be at the front but we notice her efforts and determination to get things right. We can’t wait to work with Addyson next year and help her grow even more as a dancer. This award was fully deserved Addyson Well done xx

11.01.2022 Hi Everyone, In regards to the corona virus I just wanted to touch base and let everyone know that classes will continue to run at this stage. In saying this any students presenting with sniffles or cough may be sent home by their teacher so please do not send your child if you think they are unwell. Also all students will be required to wash their hands before entering the classroom. We will be practicing dancing in our own bubbles for a little while. We will continue to run putting these procedures into place until we are advised otherwise. Kind regards Allison.

10.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Unfortunatley due to the premiers announcement about stage 3 restrictions in regional Vic we will be running classes Mon, Tues, Wed this week and then as of Wednesday night 12 pm we will be going online again until further notice. An online timetable will go up this week and anyone already paid for the term will be sent a link via email for the remainder of the term. Everyone keep your chins up we will continue to exercise together and stay fit while connecting online till things go back to normal. We can do this!!! As for the remainder of classes this week, any students over 11yrs old and teachers attending class must wear a mask to and from the halls. During exercise they can be taken off once the hall door is closed and must go back on when leaving. Kind regards Allison xxxx

06.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Dance starts back this coming week as of Monday 13th of July. I have waited as long as I could incase we had to go back online but it looks like we have the go ahead to be back at the halls yay!!! We will be following on with the COVID protocol of sanitiser,social distancing using our own drink bottles and signing in or out if you are not a student entering the hall. Please if you are feeling unwell take the night off. We will continue with this until guided further. We are over joyed to be back as of Monday and look forward to seeing you all again. All teachers are back on deck and ready to inspire you all with new choreography thanks again for everyone’s support. The timetable will go back to being the same as term one which is-

05.01.2022 Hi Everyone, good news for all online Term 2 dancers. We can go back to the halls this week for our last class of Term! Yay! I have decided this will be a great way to bring all the students who did online classes together to have a little practice of our online routines and also celebrate our last class for Term 2. To do this the timetable for this week will stay the same as the online times that we had this term and classes will run in the locations on the attached timetab...le. As for Term 3 all our classes will go back to the normal time slots with the same teachers as Term 1. I will post this timetable as a reminder heading into Term 3. Please note: We will be following all the covid 19 protocol at the halls having sanitiser on hand as you walk in, distancing ourselves and having sign in lists for any extra people entering the hall. 03.01.2022 Hi Everyone, I’m sure some of you will be wondering about Term 4 so I thought a quick post would give you some reassurance we are going ahead. We have decided to start back in week two given the scattered starts for all the schools. I will be emailing you a timetable for this term and our plan to finish off our 2020 year with something a little different. We can’t wait to let you in on all of our ideas so keep an eye out for our email over the next few days. Xxxxx

To all the primary and juniors yesterday wow what a big effort dancing in the wet what an experience we had so many smiling faces nothing could stop us! 01.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Due to the current situation and the Premier shutting schools from Tuesday I have decided to close IDance as of tomorrow (Monday 23rd of March) to follow along with these actions and guidelines. We will really miss our weekly class and hope you all stay germ free. We will hopefully resume straight after what would have been our holidays providing school goes back, otherwise we may look into some online lessons.
