21.01.2022 Time to plan for the Day of #Arafah in Sha Allah 1. Wake up early tomorrow (Thursday) for suhur and make your intention to fast the Day of Arafah before Fajr..., so that you obtain the *complete* reward for fasting the entire day. 2. Its Sunnah to begin to say the #Takbeer after *every* Fard prayer, starting from Fajr on the Day of Arafah, and continuing on each day until after the Asr prayer on the 3rd day after Eid. Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Laa ilaaha illaa-Allah, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, wa lillaahi’l-Hamd 3. Spend the Day of Arafah mentioning Allah as much as you can whether by saying Thikr, Takbeer, or reciting Quran; along with doing whatever other good deeds you're able to do. 4. Especially in the last hour or so before Maghrib, try to sit alone and make as much du'a as you can, because the Day of Arafah is from the times in which Allah answers the du'a. The Prophet said: "The best of du'a is du'a on the day of Arafah.." (1) 5. The best du'a to say on Arafah is the following du'a, so repeat it over and over again throughout the day: Laa ilaha illaa Allah wahdahu laa shareeka lah, lahul-Mulk wa lahul-Hamd wa Huwa 'ala kulli shayin Qadir. (There is no god but Allah Alone, with no partner or associate; His is the dominion, to Him be praise, and He has power over all things) 6. Finally, Arafah is the day in which Allah frees more people from the Fire than any other day of the year, so repent sincerely to Allah and beg Him to include you from being amongst those who are saved from the Fire on this Day. The Prophet said: "There is no day on which Allah frees more people from the Fire than the day of Arafah." (2) May Allah forgive us all and make us from those who are saved from the Fire on this day Ameen. ~Umm Jamaal ud-Din (1)Saheeh al-Targheeb (1536) hasan Al-Albani. (2) Muslim

19.01.2022 The Blessings of the Day of Arafah Tomorrow is the Day of Arafah. In preparation for that day, we should all be aware of its significance. - It is the Day that... Allah chose to reveal one of the most blessed verses in the Quran, "Today, I have completed this religion for you, and perfected My favors upon you, and chosen Islam as you way of life" [M'idah; 3]. A rabbi said to the Caliph `Umar (r): "If this verse had been revealed to us, we would have taken that day as a day of celebration!! - It is a Day that Allah gives an oath by, and calls it a day that is 'witnessed', in the verse: . Ibn Abbs said, "The shhid is Friday, and the 'mashhd' is the Day of Arafah." So Friday shall testify for those who pray on it, and Arafah is a Day that Allah and the angels are witnessing and observing. - It is the Day of ajj and the essence of the pilgrimage. The Prophet said, "ajj is Arafah," meaning it's all about that day. - It is a day whose fasting expiates the minor sins of the year before and the year after - one single day's fast equivalent to two year's of forgiveness!! There is no other day like it in the whole year. - It is said that this was the Day that Allah took the Covenant (mthq) from Adam and his children, and this was the Day that Allah accepted the repentance of Adam. - It is a Day of Forgiveness and of being freed from Jahannam. We learn in the adth that on no single day are more people forgiven or saved from Jahannam than on this Day. - It is a Day that Shayn himself feels the most humiliated and despised as he sees the Mercy of Allah descending down. - It is a Day that Allah descends down to the lower Heavens, and boasts to the angels about the pilgrims, and grants them their every wish. Simply put, it is as the Prophet said, "The best day of the year is the Day of Arafah" [Ibn ibbn] So make sure that you take advantage of that Day, and make sure you make lots of takbr, and lots of du`, and lots of dhikr, and remember these words from the hadith: May Allah bless us on the Day of Arafah and forgive our sins!

17.01.2022 Ramadan is just a couple days away from us. Prepare a list of everything and anything that your heart wishes for. Nothing that you ask for, is too big for Ar Ra...hman to answer. For Him, it’s just a matter of ‘Kun’

16.01.2022 It’s natural to fear the unknown. As humans, we don’t have the answers to everything, but we must trust that the Almighty has planned our next step. Always remember that He who has brought us this far, will see us through every difficulty that comes our way!

14.01.2022 The Australian National Imams Council (ANIC) EID AL-ADHA 1441H 2020 ANNOUNCMENT

13.01.2022 Three of the most difficult of deeds are: - To be generous when you have little - To be God-fearing when alone by yourself - To speak the truth to the one you f...ear (Bishr b. al-Harith [d. 227h], rahimahullah) I think all of us are desperately struggling with these three actions today, despite their vital importance. It's all well and good telling others to donate all the time, or spending all your time on Facebook and Twitter exhorting others to good etc, or criticising those who don't stand up for the truth abroad in difficult circumstances, but where are *you* at the sharp end? Talk talk talk is fine but walking walking and walking is really where it's at. Reflect upon these weaknesses and try as hard as possible to change the status quo within yourself. May Allah give us all the strength to handle these deeds which He loves. Ameen.
