24.01.2022 A big THANK YOU to our dear friends from the Ballarat Malayalee Association Inc - BMA for kindly donating nearly $4,000 worth of food to our Foodbank program. It was so kind of you and shows how the people of Ballarat look after each other in tough times. Please note, the Soccer Facility at Morshead Park (off Pleasant Street South) has become the new location for the Foodbank. Food donations will be accepted at the new location Monday-Friday, 10am-12pm. We’re seeking dona...tions of all non-perishable items including flour, tinned fruit and vegetables, long life milk, rice, tuna, soups, tea, coffee, pasta, pasta sauce and personal hygiene products. #BeKind
23.01.2022 This website may also help you find a job if your employment status has been affected by recent industry shutdowns. You are invited to register your details on the Working for Victoria site to access new work opportunities. Eligible workers can apply their skills to new roles or take up training opportunities for specific roles. At the same time, organisations and employers looking for workers can find experienced and screened staff who are ready to work. https://www.vic.gov.au/workingforvictoria

This includes jobs in health and care sectors, transport and logistics, some areas of retail, mining and mining services, manufacturing, agriculture and government sectors, among others. Over the next few days we will put some links up to important Government websites that tell you about different job opportunities and allow you to register and put your resume on file should an opportunity come up at their organisation. https://www.dese.gov.au/covid-19/jobs-hub
