24.01.2022 More on the Ball Pit day, followed by the Balancing disc day yesterday. Arnie,[ 'The Action Man'], Scout & Kenzie, taking all of these new introductions in their stride. The puppies transitions into their new homes shouldn't be too difficult with all of the various activities they have undergone in the past few weeks. They have all displayed lovely outgoing & confident temperaments.

23.01.2022 A miserable sort of a day, so looking through some favourite photos of dogs with their families.

23.01.2022 Snakes are on the move these days, so beware! Eddie, in Brisbane, had a frightening experience, a few days ago, when he was bitten by a juvenile brown snake. Eddie killed it, so it was taken for identification at the vets. Fortunately his family were home & witnessed the drama. They immediately rang their vet & took him down for treatment. The vet said his recovery was due to the quick reactions of his family.... There are a number of sites, with information, when your pet is bitten by a snake. Getting to a vet as soon as possible, is the best advice. See more

23.01.2022 Arnie, the action man, has settled into his new home, with ease. He is like a sponge, soaking a new things very quickly.

22.01.2022 Who would have thought a "Bunnings Courtesy Trailer" could be so exciting? Nelson could hardly wait for it to be unloaded, so he could get in first!! He then wanted to pose on the spare tyre. By this time, others had turned up & wanted to experience the excitement of a Bunnings Trailer!!

20.01.2022 Looking through some old photos of when we only bred Bull Terriers. These were our first litters, & Jamaica was the mother of both of them. She was an excellent mother & I learnt a lot from her! Jamaica with her daughter, Jade.[Sire was Tungsten Target]. There was 7 in the litter,whelped in Dec. 1983. Later on, Jade with her daughter, Bindi.... Jamaica & Ceredwin Coppell [ Imp.U.K.] litter in Jan.1985.

19.01.2022 Ginger & Enzo's puppies turned 8 weeks old today. 2 of them are now in their homes, whilst the 3rd one is waiting on a direct flight to Sydney.

19.01.2022 'Angus', [Ifdawn Incy Angus] is available for stud, to approved bitches. DOB 28.12.18. He has been recently tested & cleared for Hereditary Diseases in Bull Terriers Miniatures. Angus has a lovely temperament & lives with a family with young children & another dog. His sire is CH. Ifdawn Incy Nelson, & dam is Ifdawn Incy Princess Leia. Both parents were Hereditary Disease Tested & cleared prior to being bred from.... .

17.01.2022 Jamaica has great rapport with her canine family, especially her grandma, Monroe.

15.01.2022 Scout came around to visit her mother, Ginger, & her grandmother, Monroe, recently. Ginger played with Scout for quite awhile, then Monroe took over.

14.01.2022 Scout's first beach outing, which she seems to have thoroughly enjoyed! The lifeguard was keen to keep her for the day!

12.01.2022 Kenzi has made herself at home, with her new family & is already getting ready to enter the show ring!!

11.01.2022 Arnie & Scout's recent play date. They had a lot of fun together & slept well afterwards!

09.01.2022 Some of the photos sent in by owners of our dogs. Our breed are known for acting like clowns, & sometimes I think they enjoy making us laugh. I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas with family, friends & of course their beloved companions.

07.01.2022 With school holidays, camping is popular, & of course the dogs enjoy it as well! In Queensland, we have many lovely spots to visit. Even if you're not on holiday, living in North Queensland, would take some beating!!

07.01.2022 Arnie visiting his family, earlier this week. Arnie is such a delightful little man, with a great temperament. Ginger & Monroe are both very tolerant with boisterous offspring.

05.01.2022 It is the 10th Birthday of a very special member of our family today, Monroe [CH. Speiread Queen Monroe]. We thank Tracey Ruch, from Speiread Kennels for bringing this wonderful little lady into our lives!! Monroe has the best temperament, with a dash of mischief, & lots of character . She was also a top mother, producing some lovely offspring in her 2 litters. Monroe, now plays the role of grandmother with ease & is known to sometimes lead puppies astray!!... 05.01.2022 This is Arnie, with Andrea, learning the basics of obedience. This game is fundamental for him to have rear end awareness. It will help Arnie to move his rear legs in turns when heeling. He really enjoys this game. For more details, check out Cairns Dog Care and Training site.

05.01.2022 Today is the 2nd Birthday of Nelson & Leia's litter. A particularly delightful bunch of 7 puppies, with wonderful owners to match!!

03.01.2022 A treadmill/walker has made its way into our place, after a recent garage sale in our area. The dogs were keen to check it out. Nelson, being chief investigator, was the first to try it, followed by other members of the clan!! They all had different ideas of what it could be used for....

02.01.2022 Kenzie checking out her 'cousins' in the garden, before she leaves us. Kenzie is the last pup to leave. She is preparing for her flight to Sydney & has been introduced to her travel crate. It gets the seal of approval, as she had a nap in it!

01.01.2022 My introduction to dog showing. I knew very little about this hobby, & it was a big learning curve! Being fortunate to have success at the beginning, had me hooked! With family & work commitments, showing was not high on the list for some time. As they say, the rest is history, although with the current situation, showing is scarce.
