21.01.2022 For Melbourne weather and kooky videos of you enjoying time with your dog!

20.01.2022 Wendy's Wednesday Wisdom When it comes to toys my belief is that they should serve a purpose. My thoughts may be different to others and that's ok. This post does not apply to working k9's. Buy quality over quantity, especially for your power chewers (dogs that chew and destroy). When you add up your spending on cheap, it would probably add up to the cost of more expensive. Do some research and try out what suits. There are Kongs(black is best), Aussie Dog, Bullymake and... the list I am sure is bigger. Toys that are interactive get you value for money. Something you can stuff with your dogs meal, freeze and then give. Or place kibble in a ball with a hole in it, ball rolls, and kibble falls out. Then there are puzzles you can get that make your dog think, also you can make your own. Some of these can be left with the dog, others you would need to supervise so when the dog is done, you remove it because it's not for chewing. Be smart and when toys are broken, throw them out. Don't leave heaps of toys out, put in a basket and give the dog say, 2 toys then rotate weekly. Balls (that don't release kibble) and tug toys, like rope toys, are not chew toys(except specifically designed ones). Tennis balls are not good for teeth if ony being chewed. Rope toys fray and if ingested can cause a world of trouble. If you keep these toys hidden from the dog, and only bought out to play with you(fetch or tug), they will last longer and your dog will be engaging with you, enjoying play with you. This is actually a brief bit of information. If you want to learn more about toys and play - give me a call! Any ideas, recommendations or photos of your dog playing - leave in comments. Get off your butt and go play with your dog!!

17.01.2022 Very special day for my sisters family-got their first family dog. He is a wee fella, mini Daschund named Lewis!! Such a tiny tot that when I went to visit I said 'Where is he???' because all I could see was a tiny bit of black. They are in for a big surprise as we all know taking on a dog is a lifestyle. I know that he will be well looked after and enjoy many adventures with them.

17.01.2022 Here to pick up our photos from the session we had. Keen to see how they turned out.

15.01.2022 Wow, huge day of learning on Friday and still trying to process it all!! We also had a lot of fun. Team Kaiser and myself went to get educated on how to train a gundog-and BOOM!!! Kaiser loved it, and Marco. And I could see Kaiser's owners loved watching him work instinctively. I know I did, it was magic and the first time he has done anything like this. ... Dogs are amazing. Full credit to the human part of the team. His handler has worked hard, doing homework and more! We also work on patience..... If we are lucky one of Kaiser's team may write about the experience????? What exciting lifestyle does your dog live? If the family/owner includes the dog in most things during their daily lives, that is also a lifestyle.

14.01.2022 Wendy's Wednesday Wisdom Puppies are cute but hard work. They need to be constantly monitored and guided on how to live within the human household. They rely on their owners for everything. What they learn carries them through to adulthood. Owners need to keep the bigger picture in mind. When you go to a training centre, or have a trainer come to your home, it's their job to educate owners so they can then teach the pup. We want you to avoid issues as they get older... and be able to enjoy time with your dogs. Puppy school alone is not enough like we don't stop at kindergarten. Clients of older dogs often say that they thought the pup would grow out of the behaviour. If that were the case, training would not be necessary! If you don't understand why a trainer is telling you to perform a certain task with your pup - ask!! If the trainer can't explain why, find another trainer like me! Lol Get educated and train daily for 15 minutes. You will save yourself a lot of heartache and will be fulfilling your responsibility of owning a dog. Get in contact and I will assist you in having a fun and enriching life with your dog. Oh and it's never to late to start training. Looking forward to hearing from you!

14.01.2022 Super photo session yesterday with Snapp. . He had an awesome time. All the ladies were so friendly and Snapp loved the attention they gave him. My favourite photos were action ones of him catching a piece of chicken, hilarious! I love that it is a family business.
