25.01.2022 Happy Guest! "What a wonderful surprise, better than the pics !!! We spent a family get together in this gorgeous country escape ! We had 4 couples and there was plenty of space with a gorgeous choice of bedrooms and an extremely comfortable and homely living area complete with cozy fireplace. This beautiful home comes with a very impressive and brand new kitchen - very much admired by us all .... The wet conditions did not spoil our time at Iffley and Bowral .... in fact we were able to enjoy the home even more (board games were great) - Bowral restaurants too ! Would highly recommend this gem to anyone wishing to visit with friends and family, the hosts have done a great job !!"

24.01.2022 A visit and tasting at Cherry Tree Hill is highly recommended when visiting the Southern Highlands and just a 20 min drive from your Highlands base of "Iffley Cottage" at Bowral. The Southern Highlands has so much to offer those looking for a weekend getaway that is close to Sydney. Apart from the many outstanding eateries in and around Bowral, local village markets and fine shopping there are any number of world class wineries.

14.01.2022 Enjoy a great lunch and book browse at Bendooley Estate and Berkelouw Book Barn, just a short drive from Iffley Cottage and close to Berrima. Lunch and a tasting here is highly recommended. Ask for a table next to the huge open fire place, youll love it!

13.01.2022 Fitzroy Falls, this stunning waterfall is set in a pristine setting but is easily accessible on foot, and is wheel chair friendly as well, Great visitors centre and even better walking trails. Only a short drive from Iffley Cottage and well worth the time.

13.01.2022 Iffley Cottage to Artemis Wines is only a short 15-20 drive and the trip is very worth while. Tasting, food and a picture perfect setting amongst the vines and an old blacksmith shop. Artemis tells us you might even be able to arrange a home tasting of their wines while staying at Iffley Cottage!

11.01.2022 A fantastic weekend away!! Thank you for such a spectacular place to stay! Every room was finished to perfection, it definitely rivals any 5 star resort! We cannot wait for another winter getaway.

11.01.2022 Onion Soup on a cold winters day in front of the fireplace at Mount Ashby Estate, plus of course a delightful glass of wine. Another of our recommended great stops for lunch, wine tasting and perhaps some French styled furniture buying.

09.01.2022 Berry Markets and Village. An easy 50 minute drive from Iffley Cottage is the beautiful village of Berry. The markets are scheduled for the 1st Sunday of each month and feature local crafts and foods. After a stroll through the markets make some time to enjoy the village and everything it has to offer. On a recent visit to the markets we saw this Scottish highland cow happily grazing on the side of the road.

09.01.2022 One of our reviews, thanks Iain. Iffley Cottage is truly wonderful. Close to Bowral but totally self contained and with a rural outlook, you could be in the middle of nowhere. The space works for a large group, you have everything you need and more. Beds are comfy, the fire is warm and the kitchen table perfect for meals with family and friends! Communication and checkin was super easy and relaxed. Would love to stay again!

Search through the antiques and collectibles, try, and buy some of the fabulous cheeses, or take in a morning tea or lunch, either way it will be a great part of your stay.
