17.01.2022 We at Mawhoods IGA Grenfell try our utmost to service all our customer needs by having supply of all essential grocery items. Unfortunately during this unprecedented time of panic buying and supplier shortages this is not always achievable. The management of Grenfell have had to look outside of our normal supplier network to source items that have become in high demand, and one such item is hand sanitiser. We reacted quickly to the situation but in doing so had to pay the h...igh demand price which has unfortunately put us now at a disadvantage. As the supply of sanitiser becomes more readily available the price drops. By listening to our customers concerns with regards to pricing we have dropped our pricing on said sanitiser to below cost. We hope during these unchartered trading times that your understanding of the situation could be fully understood before jumping to conclusions and communicate directly with store management so that all of your concerns can be resolved directly and solutions made. We hope this clears up any confusion regarding the pricing of hand sanitiser.
