18.01.2022 Produce Market Update! You may have noticed some of our gorgeous summer fruits now available in store Antoine has given us a rundown on the latest in produce & seasonality, direct from the markets, straight to @mintfreshiga! KP Mangoes have now started in high volume from QLD, NT is finished. Prices will come down over the course of the week. There is a lot of ripe fruit around! Cherries are more available this week, there is excellent small fruit around at good pri...ces. Peaches and Nectarines are excllent and very good value. Plums and Apricots have started picking this week and will make their way into stores next week. Watermelon crops from NT are finishing and QLD is starting - low availability of crop has caused the price to rise, with QLD crop expected to be storng quality and the price will improve by December. Local NSW cucumber is abundant, good quality and great value. On the contrary local tomatoes are finished and interstate stock is good quality but more pricy. Exotic fruits have started in the form of Dragon Fruit, Lychee, and Pomelo. Australian grapes have started this week, they can only be described as glamourous, white and red. Crisp, juicy, and very tasty. Enjoy them with all meals!

02.01.2022 Mint Fresh Monday Market Update Silverbeet is currently in season and is delicious in soups on these cold evenings. It is similar to spinach but has a stronger flavour. Silverbeet usually has a white stalk, with crisp green leaves. For something different try cooking up a Silverbeet, mushroom and Ricotta pie! Imperial Mandarins are still available in store and are delicious and selling well! The Imperial mandarin is an early season mandarin, and are the most popular mand...arin variety currently grown in Australia. The variety has a fine and smooth, glossy, orange skin that is easy to peel, few seeds (if any) and a refreshing, sweet flavour. Soup packs are now also available across all stores Happy Monday!
