23.01.2022 The Festival City Challenge Cup (FCCC) is in its 29th year, (Festival City Wines and Spirits have been the principal sponsors since its inception) The Teams of 28 players, each represent their Home State at this event each October (140 players in total). The winner is the state with the best combined score over two games of Golf, played on the Sunday and Monday. The Welcome Dinner was held at the WA Italian Club in Perth. Over 300 people attended to eat, drink and catch up wi...th friendships made over the previous years. A special presentation was made to the Cure care Support Foundation by the NSW Club which had raised $16,500 over the previous 10 months. The donation will help in the support of work done in Australia for those suffering from Motor Neurone Disease. The Perth President of the WA Italian Golf Club, Mr Nunzio Nuci has been suffering with this terrible disease for over two years. The Golf Game on Sunday was held at Joondalup Golf Club and on Monday at Lake Karrinyup Golf Club. Two of the best Courses in Perth. The Gala ball, Dinner and Presentation night was held at the Perth Crown Ball Room on the Monday night. There were over 400 guests, food, wine, dancing with a live Italian Band. The winner of the FCCC Trophy was announced as the WA Team. This event is a truly National event organised yearly in a different State. Next year we will meet in Adelaide SA for the 30 Anniversary FCCC. The common thread of the weekend is Golf and Italy, but the benefits are much greater with many social, commercial and cultural advantages. The attendees are mostly Italian Born or of Italian Heritage. We do welcome participants from all over the world. See more

17.01.2022 IGC’s last Game of 2019 at Strathfield Golf Club and 2019 Presentation of Awards Night. Congratulations to all our Winners in 2019, see you all in 2020! 16.01.2022 IGC’s alternative game at Liverpool Golf Club, 15th September 2020. Approximately 40 Members turned up on this beautiful Spring Day to play the game we all love. Thanks to the Bruker’s for organising this game in such a short notice. Hope to see you all in Stonecutters GC next month. Everyone pls take care and be safe ! Cheers

16.01.2022 IGC’s first game after the Lockdown at Terry Hills Golf Course. It was nice to see those friendly faces once again. 40 Members played and it was the best Winter day ever, the course is in good condition and everyone obey the ISO rules. Soon this crisis will ease and lifted and we can all go back to our normal lives. Unfortunately there was no gathering and Presentation after the game, but thanks to everyone who participated in the Competition See you again at Elanora

13.01.2022 IGC Game at the beautiful Elanora Golf Club. Forty Members joined and played on this stunning Course. The Greens are tough but the Course’s breathtaking views just made it such a great place to be. The weather was perfect and everyone enjoyed the Course! See you all in Oatlands on 17th November! 11.01.2022 Our last day of the Margaret River Trip was amazing! Travelling 3 hours back to Perth to get ready for the Game of the Year! We practiced at Joondalup GC yesterday, it was an amazing Course! Can’t wait to play there on our First Challenge Cup game. We had our Farewell Dinner last night, our last dinner before we head off to Crown Towers to meet everyone! GO SYDNEY GO!!!!!

10.01.2022 IGC’s 2nd game of the year at Pymble Golf Club, what an amazing place, the Course is in very good condition. It’s the 1st Round of Club Championship and Over 60 players turned up and played. Congratulations to all Winners of the day. The Hole in One prize still for grabs next game at Monash. 08.01.2022 2nd Day of our Challenge Cup Perth Trip 2019. We stayed in Freemantle on our first night then drove to Bunbury, Margaret River area for our first Golf practice game before the Cup. The Once quiet peaceful town of Bunbury was disturbed when our group watched the NRL Grand Final, luckily the Staff of the Pub were nice about the noise we created! we will keep you posted! Few more days before the Challenge Cup, so Perth here we come!

07.01.2022 Sixty Members turned up to play at Oatlands Golf Club yesterday. It was a beautiful day and everyone was eager to win P. Nonnis Cup. It was nice to see Pat Nonnis to hand over the Trophy to the Winner this year. We congratulate Enzo Cesta for winning the 2020 P Nonnis Cup. Thanks to the staff of Oatlands GC, as always you welcome visitors with smile and warm reception! See you all next game at Terry Hills!

07.01.2022 Xmas in July 2019 at The Angelos on The Bay! It was a beautiful night and everyone enjoyed the food, the company of friends and the dancing. Thank you very much to everyone for donating to our Charity, the Spirit of Xmas was definitely in the air last night. see you all again next time cheers

07.01.2022 IGC game at Pennant Hills GC. The day turned up nicely after an early shower in the morning! Congratulations to all Winners of the day and a big Thank You to Ray Anderson for donating a bottle of Scotch for our MND Charity, and for Jo Calabrese for Auctioning it back to get more money for the Charity. This is what this Club is all about, everyone cares so thank you all for your support ! God Bless See you in Perth for the Challenge Cup, let’s bring the Cup back home hip hip hooray!

05.01.2022 2nd Last IGC Game of the 2019! Wow! Time do really fly, we also welcomed 3 new IGC Members who joined our 57 Members. It was a great weather and a great Course, Castle Hill is definitely a Course to put in everyone’s list. Congratulations to Vince Petitto for winning the Nick Scali Cup, 2nd year in a row. Also to the Day’s Winners, Congratulations too, they played so well. See you all in Strathfield GC next month and pls pls do book early for our Final Presentation Night! See you all

03.01.2022 Margaret River you are awesome! This part of the Country is well worth seeing! So many things to do and see! Everyone had a great time, where the boys (and me) went golfing, and the girls (and 2 boys) went to the Cave and Lookout! What an amazing day it was! Heading back to Perth tomorrow and start practicing to the biggest Event of the Year! Come on Sydney, let’s bring the Cup back home

01.01.2022 It is very sad that we weren’t able to bring the Cup back home to Sydney as per plan, but at the end of day, we all tried our best and we are happy that IGC Perth won it! A much deserved win for Nunzio and the Team! They were too good to beat this time, but we will try to get it back next year from South Australia! It was a great trip with great friends, so let’s put our heads up and get ready next year! All pictures will be uploaded to the Website in the next 24 hours! See you all at Castle Hill GC
