Both girls have had some great fights in their fight careers and already displayed impressive skills in the ring.... Amy hasn't fought in a couple of years and is looking to put herself right back in the win column in her return to the ring and let the division know she's back in the game. Berach has had a couple of impressive performances on Ignite the Fight previously and came away with a hard fought win in an absolute war at ITF 28 in November against a very credible and skilled opponent. Will the thai style kicking game of Amy be able to nullify the strong clinch game of Berach, or will Berach's strong clinch be able to shut down Amy's kicks... we don't know but we do know its going to be a crowd pleasing 3 rounds of full Thai rules action while we wait to find out. Both boys have taken on high quality opponents throughout their fight careers on their way to their first title shots. Both known for stepping up in experience and weight and always bringing the fight to their opponent. Luke and the Snake Pit gym, hailing from Rockhampton, are known for taking any fight offered to them and bringing an absolute war each and every time. Elbows, finishes, blood baths, and wars are what Luke is all about and no doubt this fight will be no different on his first attempt to take home his first belt. After the second pullout in a row from the same person Luke is keen to get in the ring and get to work! Toowoomba V Gold Coast in this one.... Judd has taken some tough fights in the past and has always put on a great fight no matter the result. They breed them tough in Toowoomba so we know this will be another tough and exciting fight from Judd. Cory is fairly new to the fight game but had quite a busy 2019 with 3 fights and two wins. Fighting out of Double Dose he'll be fit and tough with decent technique and good clinch game so will also be a tough and exciting fight from Cory. Both boys have taken on high quality opponents throughout their fight careers on their way to their first title shots. Luke and the Snake Pit gym, hailing from Rockhampton, are known for taking any fight offered to them and bringing an absolute war each and every time. Elbows, finishes, blood baths, and wars are what Luke is all about and no doubt this fight will be no different on his first attempt to take home his first belt. Brayden has a great, well rounded style, using his range well, and applying his technical skills in whatever manner necessary dependent on his opponents style. Anna is coming down from Rocky with the rest of the Team Snake Pit who have a few on the card including a main event title fight. First one up for the gym she'll be looking to get the night off to a good start bringing skill, heart and one hell of a hard fought battle like the rest of the team does every time they step in the ring. Marge is jumping right in the mix of things with a FTR fight in her debut into the square jungle. She's been training hard and consistently to get herself fight ready for a while now and will be looking to put all her hard work and dedication to the test and get the job done. Entrance is via Gate 5 on O’Connell Terrace. Please make sure you tell all your supporters. Please also note that doors will now open at 3pm and fights will start at 4pm as we have a huge night of fights. ... 2 days out!!

Bloods are required to be sent via email [email protected] or via messenger by tomorrow. Bloods must be within 6 months or no fight, no exceptions. Walk out music will need to be on a USB and given to the DJ on the night. ... Please ensure you sort everything you need to and find your information from your trainer or on facebook. Please do not contact us for things like what time is weigh in etc, we are so busy organising all the new requirements for this show that we are completely flat stick to ensure this show goes ahead for the fighters, please help us help you. Please do not ask for free or extra tickets, we are not going to make a cent of this show, we will be lucky to break even. 19.01.2022 It is with the deepest regret that we announce we have to postpone Ignite the Fight 29. Unfortunately with things changing at such a rapid pace, and the unknown of whether we will be able to proceed by the time we get to the show in a few days, even with less than 500 people, along with numerous pullouts, and in the best interests of the health and safety of all the fighters, trainers, officials, and spectators it just is not feasible to proceed at this point. We ask for yo...ur understanding in this regard and for your current matches to be agreed to go ahead when we are able to reschedule for. Please also be advised that all tickets already sold will be honoured for the new date, which we will announce as soon as possible. Tentatively we will say in about two months but we will obviously be guided by the situation and government requirements. We sincerely apologise to everyone affected by this decision, one which we have not taken lightly, and trust we have your support moving forward. Thank you, Shona and Ray

16.01.2022 ** FIGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ** Luke Brennan (The Fight Centre - Brisbane - Ben Johnston/ James Jarvie) V's Shaun Rundle (Freestyle Kung Fu Academy - Frank Mechler) This one is going to be an absolute cracker and again to be contested under full thai rules. Both boys have had some super close fights that haven't gone their way but have always been extremely entertaining. Only one win a piece in no way does these guys justice in terms of their skill and ability, there will be some s...erious skill on display in this fight. With Luke fighting out of TFC you know he will come prepared and ready to go hard for all three rounds and will of course be bringing big leg kicks as part of his extensive arsenal. Having a rough start to his fight career but breaking through in his last fight with a strong TKO by leg kicks he will be looking to keep himself on a winning streak. Shaun had one of the most entertaining fights we've ever seen at ITF in his debut about 18 months ago but unfortunately not getting the nod in that one. He's since gone and had another couple of fights also bringing home his first win in his last fight with a big TKO by body kick. Fighting out of Freestyle Kung Fu Shaun will be cerebral in his performance no matter how it goes. Davie is undefeated in his four fights so far and will of course be looking to keep it that way in his first appearance at ITF, weve tried to match him a few times but its never panned out so were looking forward to seeing what he can bring in 6 weeks time. Sham is an ITF and crowd favourite, humble and hard working and always puts on an exciting performance no matter the result. 12.01.2022 Hi Everyone! We are looking to get going with the rescheduled Ignite the Fight 29 and at this stage have tentatively set the new date as 29 August. We are working with Destiny Muaythai in terms of dates and are hoping restrictions will be eased to the point of us allowing to proceed 29 August with Destiny looking at 19 September. If we are unable to go on 29 August we will push out to 19 September and Destiny will push out another few weeks also. ... We will also work together with nominations and matches to try to ensure that everyone who was matched for Ignite in March and Destiny in April still gets a match on our rescheduled shows. We are contacting all gyms and trainers of matched fighters to check they are still available for the new tentative date so we can proceed with matches already made and if so would ask that fighters keep 29 Aug and 19 Sept free in case we do need to move to September. If any matched fighters lose their matches we will of course look to rematch them as a priority. We are aware there are fighters who are not available for the new dates and rematching will be needed so we are also taking new nominations if received asap. Could you please confirm via message if your previously matched fighters are still available and wishing to go ahead with their fights on the new date as soon as you are able. We will also let you know as soon as we have confirmation from your fighters opponents, or otherwise. Both boys have taken on high quality opponents throughout their fight careers already but that’s where the similarities end. Brad and the Walton Thai Boxing crew always come to bang and bring a technical and flashy game, always showing their opponents lots of different techniques keeping them on their toes. Already with a quite a few titles under his belt, a couple of which he won on prior Ignite the Fights, Brad is no stranger to title fights or main event spots. After 8 months with no fights due to Covid Brad is keen to get in the ring and get to work! Angus has a very aggressive and powerful style with a 50% KO rate and as a result has struggled with pullouts and getting opponents. With all of his fights going completely differently he’s seen a variety of fight styles in his early career and this will be a different fight again. Main event taken out by Abraham Rugato over Angus Anderson in a great display of Muay Thai and both showing what it means to be a fighter. If required we will cap the event at 500 but at this stage according to the QLD health minister such a requirement is not in effect. We will be taking extra precautions in terms of hygiene, checking temperatures upon entry etc to make this event as safe as possible for everyone. ... In the coming days we will provide further information in this regard as well as the extra expectations on fighters, trainers, and spectators in terms of hygiene and cleanliness. With Luke fighting out of TFC you know he will come prepared and ready to go hard for all three rounds and will of course be bringing big leg kicks as part of his extensive arsenal. Having a rough start to his fight career but breaking through in his last fight with a strong TKO by leg kicks he will be looking to keep himself on a winning streak. Shaun had one of the most entertaining fights weve ever seen at ITF in his debut about 18 months ago but unfortunately not getting the nod in that one. Hes since gone and had another couple of fights also bringing home his first win in his last fight with a big TKO by body kick. Fighting out of Freestyle Kung Fu Shaun will be cerebral in his performance no matter how it goes.
