24.01.2022 . . I don’t know any strong, successful people that had an easy past. I’m inspired by the people who fought hard to get to where they are in life. The people that had the odds stacked against them, that got knocked back, knocked down but still got back up, again & again & never gave up. ... . . I admire the people who own up to their mistakes, make amends & turn those mistakes into valuable lessons that they learn & grow from. The people that go out of their way to help others without any expectations & ulterior motive other than trying to make a positive difference in the lives of others. . . I respect the people that succeeded after putting in the time, effort, hard work & turned their dreams into reality yet, keep it real & still remain humble. The ones that have struggled, experienced darkness & found their way through it & now lead others towards the light. . . These people inspire me to be better, do better & help me believe that my dreams too are possible. Respect to those that keep it real, raw, are honest & stay authentic . .



21.01.2022 ’ You don't have to spend hours a week doing isolated ab exercises like crunches & sit ups to develop a nicely defined 6 pack. More often than not both crunches & sit ups are performed incorrectly & create stress through the neck, lower back muscles & spine. . .... Like when building any other muscle you want to keep the reps low & add more resistance when ever possible. I find deadlifts, squats and any overhead exercises give my core a good workout. . . Keep in mind that training the abs directly will not remove the fat around the mid section as you cannot spot reduce. Also no matter how hard you train your abs, you will not see the abdominal muscles unless you are at a fairly low body fat percentage. . .

The overhead shoulder press is one of my favourite exercises & one of the best exercises to build strong, muscular shoulders, upper back, arms & also builds the abdominal wall, lower back, strengthens the hips, and builds stability through the legs. .... The standing barbell press builds more total-body strength than the seated overhead press because it requires more core stability and tension from the hips and legs. Seated presses don't require the same stability because the body is taking stability from the bench. . Start by placing a barbell that is about chest height in the squat rack. Grip the barbell using a pronated (palms facing forward) grip. Make sure to grip the bar wider than shoulder width apart from each other. Soften/ slightly bend the knees and place the barbell on your collar bone. Step into the centre of the power rack position your feet shoulder width apart from each other & lock in the hips so that you don’t arch your spine during the movement. Exhale as you lift the bar up over your head & lock out your arms. The bar should be lined up slightly in front of your head. Lower the bar back down to the collarbone slowly as you inhale & exhale as you push the bar up above your head. . If you feel your back arch harder or you can't finish with your arms parallel to your ears, the weight's too heavy. Drop the weight down & focus on technique before building the weight back up

Stop trying to explain yourself to others; you don’t owe anyone an explanation on how you choose to live your life.... . Avoid negativity & drama; stay away from toxic people & their drama. Don’t get sucked in to other people’s issues & their bitching & putting others down. Avoid negative places & spaces. Spend your time with people that lift your spirits & encourage you to become your best self. give you positive environments that give you peace & positive experiences. . Don’t do anything that is against your values & morals for anyone or anything. . Learn to say No; Do not cross your boundaries for anyone & don’t let anyone convince you to do anything that you don’t want to do. Say no & mean it. . Stop caring what other people think; People only understand from their level of perception. People are quick to judge & criticise what they don’t know or understand. Their opinion is not a reflection of you but of themselves & their own insecurities. . Don’t dull yourself down because your were born to shine. Wear whatever clothes you want, put make up on or leave it off if you prefer. Style yourself however you please & however makes you feel happy, comfortable & confident.

17.01.2022 If you can afford to spend money on hair, make up, nails, nice designer clothes, shoes & hand bags then surely you can afford to be investing in your health & wellbeing. It's just a matter of priorities!! The make up, nice clothes, hair colour & style etc.. is not going to matter at the end of the day if you are ill, unhealthy & are not feeling confident in your own skin. 15.01.2022 Due to the current COVID-19 crisis in Victoria, Ignyte fitness has not yet reopened yet. 02.01.2022 : . .... Alex has made incredible progress over the past few months. Not only has Alex achieved his strength & physique goals, we have now set the bar much higher to continue to further challenge Alex. Alex’s program is based on strength training focusing on max strength & progressive overload. Excited to see what we can achieve together in the future So proud of your dedication & commitment to your goals Alex . . Before starting PT with Lauryn I had been going to the gym but not really seeing any progress & was just going through the motions. My strength had been the same without increasing, and my motivation and attendance was infrequent. As a result, my mental state was being negatively effected. Now I am constantly seeing improvements, not just physically but mentally. My drive for self-improvement has increased as well as my confidence. Since starting PT, my biggest accomplishment has been deadlifting close to double my body weight...125kg! I have also been able to squat 105kg, which is something I didn’t think I’d be able to do. There are so many reasons I like training with Lauryn! Not only is she knowledgeable in the fitness world, but she practices what she teaches proving she understands it and more importantly why! Lauryn is clearly passionate about the industry and this constantly shows with the information she provides and the work she puts into creating workouts, dietary plans and all round motivation. On top of that, she has a really fun personality that makes training so much more fun!We often have a lot of laughs whilst achieving new goals!
