18.01.2022 We are aware that local businesses are facing economic disruption and hardship caused by the COVID-19 crisis, and need all the support they can get. Council’s n...ew Business Grants offer additional support to small businesses doing it tough. Mayor - Cr Georgina Papafotiou of Brimbank City Council encourages small businesses to submit an application for one of the three categories of grants that are available this year. ‘These grants can help new businesses establish and start-ups to keep operating. The grants can also help small businesses in adapting to COVID-19 related challenges, and help other businesses who have the potential to grow and support the local economy and who haven’t necessarily seen a downturn due to COVID-19.' https://bit.ly/3lhy89y

06.01.2022 You’ll notice our communications will look a little different during the 2020 Local Government Council election period. This is because the Local Government Act... places restrictions on what information councils can print, publish and distribute during an election period. All material published to our social media channels, including comments on posts, will be moderated and manually reviewed to avoid any breaches of the Local Government Act. These changes will be in place from Tuesday 22 September to Saturday 24 October 2020. Council services continue to be delivered and you can find service information on our website. During this time we will not be able to respond your questions/comments via our social media channels however you can contact us via phone on 9249 4000, live chat on our website www.brimbank.vic.gov.au or by email directly to [email protected] See more
