24.01.2022 A few weeks back we worked on the most fun project with @rufflesandbells @lteventsau @showtimeeventgroup. It was a crazy concept. Areas of the @the_timberyard were to represent elements. This was water, filled with man made coral reefs, umbrella jelly fish and garlands of suspended kelp I hope I get a brief this interesting again..

22.01.2022 It’s been a while since I introduced myself to new followers. I’m Zoe, head florist and owner of I Heart Flowers. I begun our flower studio 8 years ago. I took my time to grow the business on account of having my hands full with two small children. I live with these now not so small children, my husband and Finny the cat in peaceful Olinda high up in the Dandenong Ranges just outside of Melbourne. I believe my life would not be so full of happiness and creativity if I did not... live in this gorgeous part of the world. We have just added a fur baby to the family named ‘Frank’ the mischievous Aussie Shepherd, he is proving to be a handful and will certainly keep me on my toes this coming season. I have spent the quieter winter months enjoying time with my family and working on our house knowing in a minute we’ll be flat out, our hands full of flowers and no more time for painting and gardening. Here’s a couple of things you may not know about me: 1. I love sharks almost as much as flowers and had once upon a time wanted to be a marine biologistpity I was no good at science. 2. I love wine, not biased on type 3. I am energetic, don’t get enough sleep during wedding season and like a cheeky drink at the end of a long day (a potent combination). 4. I paint watercolours, my favorite subject being flowers of course. 5. From our first meeting and exchanges of ideas Zoe really brought these ideas to life and it truly surpassed our expectations. Her attention to detail getting a variety of colours and flowers together to work in the Abbotsford Convent Gardens and in the Rosina Room was simply breathtaking. We received so many compliments, particularly on our hanging installation and the cerem...ony flowers which we used again in the reception. We have done every type of set up you could imagine! Every type of hanging installation, table setting, cake decoration and surprise dance moves when no-ones looking. I feel more at home up their giant 4 plus meter ladder than at almost any other venue in Melbourne .to think before I worked here I was ...afraid of heights! 10.01.2022 I've been a little quiet on here lately due to a shocking bout of the flu that included hospital stays and a long (still going) recovery. We are basically back to business as usual now. I'd like to apologise to all my wonderful clients that have or are still waiting on emails....we are working through the backlog. Most of all thankyou to the amazing community I have around me.
