25.01.2022 "Chris and Emma's was one of those fabulous, family weddings where - from the moment I stepped into the venue, I could, literally, feel the love and wonderful vibes every person in that room had for this couple. It was such a pleasure to help tell their story. The amazing river views from Moda Events Portside with the Brisbane skyline in the distance was simply the icing on the cake of what was the perfect wedding day. It was a privelege and a pleasure to help tell this story.

21.01.2022 Good morning Dalby. .. really looking forward to meeting the soon -to-be brides and grooms of the Western Downs today at Wedding Fair Western Downs 2019 to talk about how I can create for you the ultimate wedding film. Come down to the Dalby Events Centre and day g’day!

20.01.2022 There is nothing like a country wedding, even when it’s in early December and the mercury soars above 38 degrees. This is the highlights reel of the four films I created for Josh and Jess to tell the story of their wedding day and all that led them to that beautiful day. It was such a pleasure spending the day with them, their family and friends and witnessing the strength of friendships formed in small towns like Mitchell. ... And I don’t think I’ll ever see a town hall transformed the way Jess and Josh and their transformed the Mitchell Hall. Breathtaking doesn’t even come close to describing it.

17.01.2022 "Matt and Jackie were married in the exquisite "Rainforest Chapel" at the Boomerang Farm, at Mudgereeba in the Gold Coast Hinterland - and if there is a more beautiful place for a wedding and reception, then it must be better than I can imagine. It was the perfect venue for this monumental chapter in an amazing love story. Jackie and Matt met when he began managing the pizza store where she worked - a position she had assumed would be her's. Ofcourse, it all worked out beautifully in the end." Hitched At The Boomerang Farm

14.01.2022 Meeting lots of soon-to-be brides and grooms at the City Golf Club Wedding Expo .. perfect for someone like me who loves a chat

13.01.2022 WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO RE-LIVE ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT DAYS OF YOUR LIFE? That was the question I came back to in so many conversations with couples at Wedding Fair Western Downs in Dalby last weekend and Toowoomba’s City Golf Club Wedding Expo the weekend before. For many of them, having a videographer to capture the day was already on their radar. ... For others, it was on their wish-list - as long as the budget could stretch that far. But I was amazed at the older couples who said that while their wedding album rarely came off the shelf, those that had a wedding video said they still watched it themselves or showed it to friends and family several times each year. One lady told me she and her husband decided to hire a videographer INSTEAD of a photographer to capture their wedding - and that it was the best decision they ever made. While I’m sure that’s rare, what I always say to couples planning their wedding is: wedding photographs are a must. The wedding album is always one of the first things people would grab if the house was on fire - along with the kids and the dog ! At least one beautifully shot photograph from your wedding day needs to be somewhere in every family home, a reminder to you both of how it all began and a reminder to the kids that before they came along, their parents fell in love and created a foundation to build a family on - and it started the day this photograph was taken. But a video can capture aspects of the day that a still photograph never can - the father-of-the-bride quietly sliding his hand inside his daughter’s as they start walking into the church, the look of wonder on a groom’s face as he sees his future wife walking down the aisle towards him, the flower girl stealing the best chocolates from the lolly bar while the rest of the guests are dancing and all of the other stolen moments that take more than a second to unfold. Even the best wedding photographer can’t capture the words I do in a single frame. No matter how many photographs are taken at the reception, they’ll never include the emotion in the words of the speeches as those closest to the bride and groom pay tribute to the union they have created. Yes - always entrust your wedding day to a photographer - but I believe you’re only capturing half of it if you don’t find a videographer to help you tell that story as well.

10.01.2022 This was a fantastic day. Elly and Dustin were married at St Thomas More's in South Toowoomba and the reception was at Preston Manor - easily one of the most stunning venues in what is among the Darling Downs' most scenic spots. One of the many highlights was being able to capture some wonderful footage of the bridal party at a beautiful property just around the corner from the Manor, which seemed to be perched on the very edge of the world. ... Everything about the day was perfect - even if the property's resident donkey thought he was the star of the show ! Preston Village Chapel and Manor #YourQueenslandWedding
