25.01.2022 The 2019-20 bush fire season was the most challenging NSW has ever faced - and took an enormous toll on communities across the state. After major events like th...is, we conduct community research to better understand how people prepared and responded to the fires. You may have been impacted by the fires, or you may have been travelling in an area that was impacted. Through the UOW: University of Wollongong, Australia and the Bushfire and Natural Hazards CRC, we are keen to hear from you. 06.01.2022 Pictures of a South Nowra fire in the late 70's, this is where estates are now, one of Illaroo Road trucks was overrun at this fire, a ex army blitz just done up from workshop, unfortunately it was a petrol driven truck and the heat vaporised the fuel so it stopped on the edge of the fast moving fire heading in an North Easterly direction - no pictures of the truck, we were not allowed to take pictures back then and no phones like now.

While the icons may look different, what they mean doesn't change - you should check for information about what to do to protect you and your family.
