21.01.2022 Canon HQ in Hong Kong has 420 6 Watt iP DOTs in 13 horizontal rows over 14 storeys. The average power consumption of the iP DOT is remarkably low at approximately 1250 Watts. The iP DOTs were installed on Canon HQ with a custom 90 degree bracket. The power drivers for the DOTs were installed with illuminations Physics’ outdoor enclosure which has an ingress protection rating of 65. https://www.illuminationphysics.com/proj/exterior/canon-hq/

Both products are frequently customised to both suit the designer’s intent and achieve better integration into the building façade. 17.01.2022 Special content was produced for the media wall which created an echo of the façade lighting effects on the HSBC Building Façade in Hong Kong. Triangular animations and kaleidoscopic patterns provide a synergy with the lighting as the lighting ‘reacts’ to the content on the media walls. Triangles also comprise the HSBC logo so there is useful branding in these integrated combinations. Our solution is to provide a customised approach to achieve the client’s desired outcomes. The illumination Physics Media Dot was created for Studio City; 3008 pieces perform every night as part of a totally integrated façade lighting design. No off the shelf product would have met the client’s expectations and for any similar projects in future we will draw on our experience. 16.01.2022 Great to see that the lighting supplied by Illumination Physics for the Theatre, MICE and Casino roofs is going strong almost a decade later! A total of 1,012 Wash 36 fixtures has been delivered to the project for the MICE, Casino and Theatre roofs of Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. Since the grand opening in 2010, the lights have been on display every night as part of a spectacular light show. 15.01.2022 For a long time the development of the chandelier was barely perceptible until the commercialisation of the LED and the availability of practical digital control of kinetic movement. The effect is like a chain reaction. The nature of the so-called chandelier is now vastly broader, now encompassing a broad range of eclectic ceiling installed decorative features that emit light. 08.01.2022 The illumination of the domes offers many creative opportunities. Dark winter afternoons can be enhanced with a visual metaphor, a blue sky with passing clouds for example. Both festive treatments and day to day mood lighting can instantly be called up or scheduled in advance. Regardless, the integration of the lighting system with this unique structure has been executed with perfect geometry. It was a most coveted prize for 2 reasons: It was Shanghai’s most unusual facade and one in which the lighting systems would be integrated into the structure as if they were an organic part of it and not merely an afterthought, as is often the case in facade lighting.

06.01.2022 The Star Casino VIP gaming suite project had a tight 30-day deadline but our engineers rose to the challenge, mapping out a procurement and manufacturing program that would allow only a few days for the final installation and testing. 05.01.2022 iP Dots can be shaped infinitely. For the Green & Gold Complex in Croatia the iP Dot was shaped to fit into a cut notch in the transom feature, appearing identical. 160 of the RGB version of the iP Dot were used with 24 iP HP Drivers.
