23.01.2022 On these cold winter nights everyone loves to be covered in pressurised warm water to warm up. This is the new found love in the Skipper household! For most women a rail shower is essential and the men love a dumping shower head.....this is the perfect compromise. The higher the shower head is positioned, the heavier the droplets = man happy. 22.01.2022 Coming into the storm season it is never a great idea to be unprepared. The hidden assassin is the guttering of your house and the leaf debris that is congesting it. Roof leak situations can lead to the inconvenience of insurance claims, delays of trades etc. These can be prevented if you are aware. 17.01.2022 Awareness note! Now that all the recent meter readings are appearing in our letterboxes, we ask you to take a moment to check your water meter. Is it ticking over with all taps off? It costs enough to pay for what we use......plus the added levies..... Please take a minute to ensure there are no leaks and save your pennies for you! Keep your reading card for next time round also to double check your usage. While you are on the investigations, take a minute to check those Flexi connections under your sinks in the bathrooms and kitchens and behind your toilets. If they are rusted or kinked, replace them without delay before you require the insurances. Skipper Plumbing are always here to talk you through any concerns so reach us on 5351 1003.

Recently, after many years of fundraising the club was able to open the doors of their very own club rooms! Our very own Flynn of Skipper Plumbing loved being on the shovel digging for his teams.

12.01.2022 Enjoying a relaxed Sunday session to celebrate the opening of Kiki Bar the sister bar to the amazing Spice Bar! We have been very fortunate to work with the team to add some of the finishing touches to this masterpiece! It is a must to drop by for some deliciousness!

11.01.2022 Taking a moment today for awareness. The pictures I have posted are likely to be found under your bathroom vanity, kitchen sink or even behind you toilet. These Flexi hoses are connected to mixer taps and of late have been creating a lot of havoc for home owners and tenants. We have seen quite a few of these of late with a slow leak over time causing cupboards to swell, rot etc and even to the extent of demolition works to repair the rotted timber below the floor surface or in the walls. It is also possible for these to let go completely and cause minor flooding throughout your house. Please take a minute today to inspect that you do not have a kinked hose or a slow leak. It just may save you a lot of grief.

09.01.2022 Ever wondered what that random wet area was in the middle of a normally dry area? These pictures are a perfect example of the unexpected water leak that is causing the excessively high water usage bill. A sure way to reassure yourself of any doubt is to take a frequent meter reading of your property at a time when all devices are off. If your meter is ticking over with everything turned off we recommend having an assessment carried out on your property to save every drop you can. Because every drop counts......$$$.

I don't intend to post pictures of tap washers but we do often have the pleasure of the finishing touches of bathroom and kitchen renovations and I would love to show them off. 04.01.2022 Nobody is loving the dry weather and to be honest we have had quite a few devastating discoveries as we have been called to semi-rural properties with private bores. These properties believed their pumps had seized but sadly it was a case that their bore had dried up. So much realisation comes of this! To all those affected in any way by this dryness please know these locations are available to you. We are all wishing for a good soaking in the near future.
