25.01.2022 With a week of calm weather ahead, I think its a fair bet the vis will be on the mend for the weekend.

23.01.2022 Yesterdays afternoon dive was a little gloomy but with in 5 min of the anchor going down the Minke whales were around the boat for a bit of diver watching. Any guesses where we will be diving on Saturday morning? Best bit is if the whales dont come and find yus on the Safety stop you still had a great dive with cray fish like small dogs.

23.01.2022 2 pods of Orcas off Rottnest Island today. #perthorcas #whalewatchingperth #projectorca

22.01.2022 Well I think its time to start thinking about the Live aboard trips for next year. So we are planning on the Abrolhos Islands and then Shark Bay/ Dirk Hartog Island. Does anyone have any requests for different or longer trip trips. Realistically The Abrolhos will be mid May and Shark bay June.

22.01.2022 Not a bad sign for the good vis on Thursday and Friday. #hillarysscuba

20.01.2022 Finish the working week of after the 2nd 37 degree day with a night dive!

18.01.2022 Pretty cool our our friends the minke whales came for a visit on todays dive trip #minkewhale #perthminkewhales @ Hillarys, Western Australia, Australia

17.01.2022 A bit of cloudy Minke whale footage from the safety stop yesterday. apparently the 2 x 38m dives were pretty

16.01.2022 When you think about it its not that cold in South Australia?

16.01.2022 Tomorrows trips are looking a little quiet considering we had minke whales following the divers for a hour yesterday!

15.01.2022 We have spots open for tomorrow's night dive with 5 knots of wind!

15.01.2022 How good would it be if we could see this in Perth!

15.01.2022 Low winds and warm weather, it must be diving weather.

14.01.2022 Exciting news- we have the first match ever made of killer whales sighted off Rottnest Island! Meet George. Thanks to citizen science, we were able to identify... one male killer whale, George, seen off Rottnest Island in 2016, 2019 and now in 2020- last week. Named by one of our citizen scientists who helped with this match and contributed imagery. This data is invaluable as we continue to build the bigger picture of killer whales seen off Western Australia. Thank you to our citizen scientists and contributors: Plaxy, Dan, Ry, Ben and Patrick. Images here credited to: Plaxy Barratt and Patrick Lane. They have all donated imagery that allowed this match of an individual to occur. Without your help and donation of data, we would never have made this discovery. Just an example of the power of citizen science. #citizenscience #projectorca #killerwhaleresearchaustralia

14.01.2022 It has been suggested that the weather on Tuesday is too good to waste. So butter the boss up tomorrow and see your allowed to come to the Key Biscayne. Worse case you can always got to work.

13.01.2022 Another visit from the Minke Whales on todays trips. Hopefully a few UW shot were taken on safety stops with 2/3 of the boat seeing them. #minke whales #PerthMinkeWhale

13.01.2022 A little something for Halloween.

12.01.2022 Looking at the long range forecast ...Next weekend is looking like a warm one with plenty of dives to be had.

10.01.2022 Thursday night and Friday are looking like the diving days this week. Saturday is a family day not a ocean day! Sunday has a slight chance for a single dive if the weather passes quick.

09.01.2022 The vis wasnt bad on todays local dive. You could see the sand ripples at 13 m before you jumped off the boat. Rotto will be better tomorrow.

09.01.2022 Not bad conditions of the deco on the 65 m wreck. A bit under 1 knot of current. To drift along with. #shipsgraveyard

08.01.2022 A couple of pics from last Sundays Rottnest trip. Good vis and a flat ocean.

07.01.2022 A good day to not to have a fly bridge

04.01.2022 We have just added another Abrolhos Island trip from the 9-13th June if anyone thought they were going to miss out.

04.01.2022 Off Rotto today. It was pretty cool. More pics to come once I sort through them:)

03.01.2022 Got to love it when you get in the water and can make out the bottom at 28m from the surface! Imagine how good it is at Rottnest!

02.01.2022 Guess what if the boat had sunk in the last 2 years the life raft would have popped up. Thanks to Mark from @dolphinscubaperth for taking it fir a swim to test it.

01.01.2022 A bit more from the run in from the deep dive. #hillaryscuba #westisbest
