16.01.2022 Christmas is coming! What colour scheme is everyone decorating with this year? Show us your trees!

15.01.2022 It took me a while to choose the theme for Spencer's 1st birthday. But once I noticed that he took interest when Sheriff Callie came on the TV, dancing and watching the show, I then started to take more interest in the show too, and found lots of inspiration for a party! Wild West is a great theme for a party, and once I added in the adorable characters from Sheriff Callie, it became a super cute theme for a boy's 1st Birthday ~ I just removed most of the pink, giving less e...mphasis to Sheriff Callie, and more emphasis on the colours of her second in charge, Deputy Peck. This gave the basis of the centrepiece for the party, which was, of course, the dessert table! Toby the cactus, another main character, is often eating popcorn, which of course inspired a Popcorn Bar in his name. And who could look past the Saloon when setting up a drinks table? Good old Ella the Cow runs the saloon, and serves all of the characters milkshakes (rather than alcohol!) so we thought it would be cute to serve little milk bottles from Ella's Saloon. Little Hats and neck scarves for each of our little Cowboys and Cowgirls, Sheriff Callie colouring pages, plus a cute "Wanted sign" photo prop, completed our fun little Wild West set up! 09.01.2022 {INSPIRED BY} Our client gave us this picture to use as inspiration for her son's baptism set up this weekend. It belonged to her little man's Poppy, so is sentimental to them all. We can't wait to show you how we incorporated this into the design, whilst keeping with our clients colour scheme....navy, white & beige vintage planes.

08.01.2022 It was incredibly special for us to be asked to style Jasmine's Sweet 16th birthday! In our other job as NICU Nurses, Jasmine was one of the very first babies that we ever looked after. 16 years later, she is a beautiful young lady, who is making us feel both very special, and very old! Using the teal coloured dream catcher from Jasmine's bedroom as inspiration, we pieced together a gorgeous and very individual Sweet 16th for Jas to share with her friends and family. 07.01.2022 We always have such fun creating centrepieces for the Annual Ball at Mystical Dragon! It's always something so different to our other events, and this year was a lovely Earthy, Celtic theme. You may be interested to know that next year is having a very popular theme, and you may just want to come along.... we are transforming the room into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry! 02.01.2022 What a wonderful theme we worked with last year at Mystical Dragon's annual 'Australia's Biggest Morning Tea' Event! Led by the catch phrase "We're All Mad Here", the girls down at Mystical chose this fun and whimsical theme. Inspired by the gorgeous printables from Sweet Scarlet Designs, and the amazing handmade desserts from Mystical Dragon's own Amanda Godfrey, everything came together beautifully to raise funds for the Cancer Council.
