04.01.2022 hola amigos!! as mamy of you know i found a silver linning on the whole COVID situations. robi and i are not doing markets at all perhaps till august. i found a refuge by doing pottery. mainly mugs and platters. this mugs i made to fill the kiln. as sometimes i have orders and i want to fulfill them without too much time to wait.... so i have a few ready to go. no wait at all only the posting time. The mugs are $40 each They are wheel thrown. Then hand crafted and after that hand painted. It takes about 1 hour each to paint ans sgrafitto. There will be no one the same They are fired twice. First to 1000 degrees c Then to 1220 degrees c The platters has about 3 hours between throwing and turning. Then painting It takes about 3.5 hours the carving of it. Then 2 firings first to 1000 this takes 9 hours after this the glazing and back in the kiln for another 10 hours to 1220 I thought I tell you the price here as si many ppl are asking $130 plus post.
