24.01.2022 Hey to all the pledgers! Look at what we've made!!! It looks small and lack luster in a photo, but I assure you its "bigger and greater" than it looks. We've compiled, scored and charted a bunch of the songs we've been working on, bound them and turned it into a 10/10 book! It wasnt all smooth sailing though! We had some serious scheduling issues with the Melbourne composition team, but, with some clever thinking from Beth's directorial mind, we were able to find a solution a...nd slingshot our way to a partial victory! This has been a great stepping stone in the composition and scoring stage of this awesome project, and both Beth and I are incredibly grateful and appreciative of all the support that's been received financially, spiritually and emotionally. Cheers to the next stage!!! Chookas :)

18.01.2022 Impatient for iMPERFECT! Music Composition Intensive was postponed to May 31-June 2; now moved again to 2nd week of June! I'm impatiently waiting to complete the iMPERFECT! But our music artists are too busy. I guess they are in high demand. They must be good, then! ;)

17.01.2022 Hey everyone! Just a little fun video of a score being worked on! With the great work from our international composers Odoni and Gardy (and their awesome Kasing Sining team!), its finally coming together. "Hero of the People" is a huge scene in Act 1! Anthemic and glorious. Obviously this will sound better with real singers :)

05.01.2022 Finally! My flight is booked, Melbourne is organised, book and lyrics will undergo dramaturgical scrutiny this week and I'm feeling like "God causes all things to work together for good" (Rom 8:28). I think this iMPERFECT musical is about to have songs and score completed by August!!!! Oh, what joy! <3

03.01.2022 En route to the airport to catch a flight to Melbourne. This weekend is the imperfect Music Composition Intensive. And I get a rainbow send off! God's promise of a wonderful end after a long iMPERFECT journey? Maybe. Could be.

03.01.2022 There is a strange sense of balanced imbalance, as I continue to walk a path that, I truly believe, was inspired by the Divine. Whilst I presumed I would have had intense music composing days here in Melbourne, I have, instead, sat in front of my laptop for hours on end every day since I flew in last 14th Aug. I am constantly beset by this unnerving feeling of not knowing. The next two days are days of reckoning - will I be holding in my hands a complete music book of the son...gs and score for Act 1 as I board my flight that takes me back to my country home in Queensland or will I be dragging a heavy heart? Anyway, I made a new friend. She supported the iMPERFECT crowdfunding campaign last May. For this Melbourne trip, I was supposed to meet her face to face over coffee; but then, she was scheduled to leave for a holiday in Spain. Instead, she sent me a photo she took while being a tourist at the Catedral d Leon in Western Spain. I texted back to her, "we must be where we are meant to be." So, you'll hear from me soon!
