17.01.2022 As a result of everyone's involvement in the Imperial Futsal Charity tournament on the 19th of December, we were able to donate a range of essential items to the Salvos Street to Home Initiative. These items included 10 zero degree sleeping bags for Tasmanian conditions, 5 water proof and lightweight tents, 10 bath towels, 2 packs of mini Mars Bars and 1 pack of lollipops. Thank you to Clarence Sports Stadium for providing us 1 hour of free court hire which took the amount raised to $990. Each and every player who came along on the 19th of December had a part to play in making this donation to Salvos possible. You should all be proud of yourselves. 05.01.2022 On the 19th of December we ran our charity tournament which raised money for the Salvos Street to Home initiative. Thank you to everyone who came along to the event as your involvement helped raise $930! Imperial Futsal Tournaments will be using 100% of these funds to buy essential items and gifts for those in need this Christmas! This charity tournament was in honour of my late grandfather Peter Barker who would always help those less fortunate. Also, thank you to @rommoynihan on Instagram for the creature shirts! 02.01.2022 Due to developments in the NDIS case, we have made the decision to redirect 100% of Imperial Tournament proceeds to the Salvation Army Supported Housing: Streets to Home initiative. It is very important to us that any funds that are raised through Imperial Tournaments make the most significant and meaningful impact.
