25.01.2022 According to the ABS, less than 10% of small businesses ‘survive’ beyond 5 years. WellI’ve recently been reminded that Impulsion Consulting has just turned 5!!! Time has certainly flown since I took the big and uncertain leap from the security of being a full-time permanent wage earner. During this time I have had the pleasure of working with some wonderful clients from both the public and private sector across a diverse range of industries and I mean diverse!! Whether it’...s working with the owners of a private zoo that supplies the animals to the I’m a celebrity get me out of here production through to a Ballarat-based construction firm building scientific laboratories for the State governmentI have loved every single day. Working as a private consultant has also allowed me the flexibility to embark on the process of becoming a Clinical Psychologist. While many would call this a journeyI prefer to call it an ultra-marathon!! Once I have jumped all the required hurdles and I finally cross the finish-line (hopefully at the end of 2018), I will be expanding my business to include some health-related projects.
